An eclectic mix of customers from Hi vis jacket workmen to suited and booted office workers. Very homely and a gorgeous breakfast. great choice with black pud thrown in for free !!! Price pretty good for a city. A must visit if you appreciate a good brekky on a plate without these senseless extra bowls, planks or slates that seem... More

Really good selection of breakfast and brunch, and plenty for vegetarians. Good prices for the area of the city and the portions were decent sized. I had the rarebit which was full of flavour. Saw the 2 4 1 deals during the week where cocktails come in at £3 so I will definitely be returning. Good decor and atmosphere and... More

After reading many enthusiastic reviews I must say I expected more. The place is nice but honestly this breakfast was too fat and greasy. Maybe for my Italian taste that was too much. However I remember having a great time, though I was alone, for the lively atmosphere. My visit is dated back to December 2014.

Went today for a vegan breakfast, great location and inside was pretty cool. The guy that served me was lovely, and very happy but the girl that bought my drink didn't offer a smile. Breakfast was great, especially the sausages. Only negative was that I asked for brown toast and got white. Great value though, drink, toast and breakfast for... More

Eat here semi-regularly with friends, family, or my laptop and a bit of work midweek. It is hard to get in at weekends because it is understandably hugely popular. Midweek quieter but always a buzz, and no one minds me sitting with a coffee and my laptop for an hour or two. The food is uniformly excellent; my favourite is... More

After an all day sesh the day/night before we were looking for sustenance. Lovely welcome when we walked in. Really friendly and efficient service. We ordered two full Irish and a full English with coffees. Everything on the plate was beautifully cooked and went down a treat. We were a little fragile when we walked in and had a "Popeye"... My first visit to the new location, and have to say it did not disappoint in any way, the place is now a lot larger, (now with washrooms) I loved the old place, but was always full, so now with more tables, more chance of getting a seat. The breakfast was excellent, what can I say, could not be better,... More

Both myself and my husband had the full breakfast, and I opted to learn about the Pickle Back. The lady who served us was friendly and smiling, which added to the overall experience. For the fact that we were both satisfied after eating, I wouldn't complain about the price. I would have walked straight past this place if it wasn't... More

Tried this recently when family came up. Not as good as the old Koffee Pot and they really hiked their prices to pay for the move. Pity as the old place had a certain style, this place was busy but the food didn't live up to its reputation
