We had often noticed how popular this restaurant is, and decided to try it for lunch. Now we know why the locals gather here. We had a simple brunch, bacon and sausage barms - the nicest we've ever had. The service was perfect - friendly and swift, and although the restaurant was very busy, we were not hurried at all.... We went there this week-end for a brunch with friends. The place is noisy but nice. Except the "fresh" orange juice, food was good and quickly served. BUT, When I asked for the bill, as my english is not perfect, I understood 45 pounds. So I gave her 50 pounds. When I realised it was too expensive for what we... More

So the service is friendly and fast. That's a start. The whole place looks a bit battered - plates, tables etc. But clean. It's in the little things - the salt cellars are ineffectual and the fresh juice contains the dregs of the last pressing so is too zesty and sharp.

Visited here with my daughter for brunch. Everything was just lovely. The dining area, the food, the drinks and the staff. This was my first time but it won't be the last. Perfect

We were staying nearby and came for breakfast on both days. Service was friendly and efficient. Loved the Eggs Benedict with black pudding although the latter was a little overcooked. Had the full English the next day which was good, and the black pudding better than the day before!

Visit here very often. Family run Italian deli and now serving some bistro specials. Great coffee, cakes, and snacks and very prompt service . We had bagel and cream cheese and ham and cheese toastie, perfect brunch

Has an appearance of somewhere nice to have brunch, however the portion sizes were small and the food bland. They do have good coffee though.

In Didsbury for an appointment. Having arrived in good time looked for a coffee and came across The Deli. Clearly a popular spot with a nice ambience and good service. After our appointment we decided to go back for lunch. The food was excellent (Had the goulash) and the place was buzzing - clearly a popular spot with local people.We've... More

I recently moved to Didsbury and was very impressed with my first visit to the Deli, during which I had a Full English Breakfast. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked - creamy, and not too dry. The fried bread, too, was oily whilst not too crispy. The bacon, too, was cooked beautifully and retained its moisture. The rest of the... More
