Not as happy with this cote as the others. Service was lacking. Crab starter is my absolute favourite and I order every time, Manchester cotes starter was watery and tasteless. It was virtually flat on the plate instead of stacked. Awful Many bones in the...More

Last time we dined here was immediately before a theatre visit so we were a little wine-wary for fear of falling asleep mid monologue. This time we'd already taken in an art exhibition and felt the Cote atmosphere would be ideal for a post gallery...More

Shopping trip on a bank-holiday Monday for 4 to "sunny" Manchester. Pre-booked on the off chance it was packed, but actually only half full which surprised. Children menu fish goujons, then three of the fixed-price menus; 2 x mussels in cider, 1 x endive salad,...More

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities. Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly.
