This restaurant was recommended by friends, but for us the experience was not that good. The menu is very limited, with mainly typical food cooked in very traditionally way. The meat dishes include meat with bones, which I do not like. Therefore, my choice, a chicken fricassee with spaetze was not ideal for me: the chicken in the dish was... More

This place has a really great location very close to the famous "La Petite-France" district of Strasbourg. At the beginning, we were happy that we got a table in their terrace, but finally we were disappointed with the meal we got there. The starters (Foile Gras Terrin and Salade Obernoise) were just average, but the salmon we got for a... More

Visited here on recommendation of hotel as a local, traditional restaurant. Had no table booked but we were fitted in. It is very small and quaint. Restaurant was busy and didn't seem to have many staff. The waiter who looked after us wasn't particularly friendly. Food choices were quite limited. I had a Rib Eye Steak which I asked to... More

Booked this restaurant for a group of 30 in December and arranged for a set menu and pre-ordered the food to make things easier. When we got there, the setting was lovely and easily accommodated everyone. Service was very good and the food could not be faltered. The entire group was very happy with the dinner which when you considered... More

We had walked from our hotel on Place Kleber down to Petite France and decided we needed lunch before we headed back. The food was very good, the wine was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. It was a beautiful, warm autumn day and we lazily enjoyed our lunches and wine while watching the river tour boats float down the... More

The Restaurant was recommended by the Hotel. We were a group of 14 people. Since the weather was good we were sitting in the garden under the shades which was very nice also the house is very typical. Unfortunately, the food was not great except for the kidneys. The staff was rather unfriendly except for one waiter who was helpful.... More

Dropped in here as it stayed open until 1430 on a Sunday. Food is traditional Alsatian. My confit Rabbit was excellent and my partner's Ribeye steak was very good as well. Outdoor sitting area was cool on a very hot day and staff were very friendly and attentive. One to remember for next time I'm in Strasbourg

I rarely write negative reviews. Unfortunately our experience was very poor. We saw this restaurant and decided it was where I wanted to eat for my birthday. On arrival a polite waiter asked where we'd like to sit. I explained it was my birthday and could we sit by the river. We were willing to wait for a table and... More

Our hotel recommended this place for local cuisine. I do not believe that this place represents la cuisine Alcasienne. Waiters who could hardly hide their hauteur, indifferent service and poor food. Please avoid!

We went as a group of eight and got in slightly before lunch crowd. Outside seating was shaded and comfortable. Beautiful location close to canals. The service was tops and food was pretty good. Fortunately the menu provided translation for our only English speaking group. Several dishes were obtained with salmon, mushroom soup, beef filet tips, vegetarian plate, and a... More
