The place as such seems nice at first impression and I have to say they serve nice tarte flambé and have a very good choice of bears. But the staff is not attentive at all - wrong bears, confusing orders, misinformation. Could really try better.

Rude service. Don't have the time of day for you. Had a party of 6 who were hungry and thirsty. Got turned away by staff. Turned her back on me in the middle of my sentence. Was going to drop 100€ +. Advice: Skip this place. Walk across the bridge to Abattoir Cafe, WONDERFUL!!!

Good for beer. The food selection is very basic, although tasty. Very cramped and quite impossible to sit at tables if you have just medium long legs. Waiter rather reluctant.

On a warm sunny Sunday, we discovered this little bar - that serves an amazing range of beautifully-chilled beers. Perfect! The three of us ordered the cheese platter (euro 14), and were struggling to finish the wonderful array of (nine) local cheeses - each more tantalising than the last. With fresh baguette and a simple salad, this was the ideal... More

If there is just the two of you, trying to have a beer in Strasbourg, this place cannot offer the excitement you want. We got only one menu and they had us waiting for the service for 15 minutes. The staff was absolutely not friendly. If you are a huge beer-fan, there are much better places to explore, where 33cl... More

Nice place to grab a beer and maybe a bite too but don't expect fast service. The beer list is larger with German, French, Belgian, and world beers available. Best to sit outside in summer if possible to find a seat

I recommend this place to eat good meat and drink good beers. I went there when was in Strasbourg many times. I really enjoyed the service they offer and prices are not so high!

The Academie was recommended by so many people we made it our first stop for dinner during our visit. While it was very busy and only one waitress, the first night, we were waited on in a few minutes. Our family good a mix of burgers, pizza, and salads. All tasty and well done. Good beer selection, and draft beer... More

Got off to a bad start as waitress did not speak enough English to even seat us at a table. She directed us downstairs to the toilets. We then just sat down at a table, she came and redirected us to worst table in the place. Beer selection was a lot smaller than anticipated, we never did have lunched, had... More
