Yes, the location and setting is marvelous. The service was attentive. But the food did not meet our expectations for a restaurant of this reputation. Our first courses were interesting but the transformation of ingredients made it impossible to understand what we were eating. We ordered the chicken for two cooked in a clay pot. It was somewhat overcooked and... More

Amazing restaurant, in an amazing park. We tried the 'small' menu, served by a very very stylish team. The appetizer, a crab gelé was wonderful. The lake fish with citrus sauce, very original, and the last, a marvelous cooked duck, was delicious! Loved the dessert and surprised by an amazing 'gourmet coffee'. All in a very romantic ambiance. Loved.

Typically French cuisine in a 16th century building. Menus offer best value, a la carte can be expensive for what is now a one star Michelin restaurant. Very high level of service. Menu is short but very good. Good quality food and service.

This was one of our best dining experiences in many trips to France. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. The Service was exceptional. We combined the dinner with a nice walk in the park for a perfect evening.

It was my partner's birthday and we were in Strasbourg for 3 days. I spent a long time choosing a restaurant. It was an excellent choice. The restaurant is in a park in the European quarter. The main restaurant room is really nice with an interesting roof. Tables are very well spaced out. The menu is fairly short, and the... More

Restaurant is in wonderful environment of Parc de l'Orangerie. Try to combine the visit with a nice walk. The quality and presentation of food was amazing, offering exclusive versions of local food and surprising combinations. Our 5 course menu was well balanced. We were seated at the entry to the room so could witness the preparations for serving the food.... More

Recommended by several sources, the chefs and staff at Le Buerehiesel did not disappoint. My wife and I both had the tasting menu and it was tremendous; the service was wonderful.

I would go back to Strasbourg just to eat here. The dining room is magnificent at lunch time in the middle of the park. Service was impeccable. The roast Bresse chicken sealed kin pastry was the highlight. We gobbled every morsel. Pamplemouse souflee outstanding. Some of our group had the three course prix fixe lunch for only 38 Euro. Best... More

It is in the middle of a really beautiful wooded park and most of the tables have a great view. The restaurant has been in the family a long time and there are dishes that are real restaurant specialities. The brioche dessert and the whole chicken cooked in a pastry sealed pot are not usually Michelin star candidates but were... More
