This Restaurant is old school Amazing Veal Kidneys and Calves Liver and some lovely Claret . The waiters were friendly and helpful especially as our French isn't the best ! We would eat here again.

Great local place located near central Bordeaux. Frites cooked in duck fat are sin but well worth it!

We where invited for lunch at this restaurant. My wife enjoyed her steak very much and my duck magret was also nice. We weren't expecting the big sized portions, at the end I didn't not order dessert since I was so full. did nibble on the desserts at the table and they where good. The place itself has a nice... We had the Salmon and sausage plats. Large servings. Salmon, savory custard and lots of veggies. Sausage and frites. Both were great. There is a delicious, old world style in their meal preparation. Requests can be made for a Private New Orleans-style booth for 4 or 6 people. Full bar and nice wine list. Love the art collection, Brass bar... More

My husband and I went based on reviews. His steak smelled as though it was dragged through open sewage! My duck breast was just okay. Wine was great as they only served it as opposed to having made it! But the kicker.... the absolute rudest, smirking, jerk of a waiter! EVER!!!! With over twenty trips to France (several of which... I hesitated to answer, i thought it was a fake....we are at the limit of defamation. Apparently you do not like french waiters(even Parisians) All of us,sometimes, have relationship problems, multiplied with the barrier language. I know we are always doing effort for the well being of our guests. By the way, our restaurant is always a fair share of tourists and... More

Monday lunch, plat du jour, €12 plus drinks etc. Good service, hot food, clean restaurant and toilets, just around the corner from the tourist information centre and a short walk to the promenade. Worth a try.

It seems the locals in Bordeaux go to L'Orleans when they want to celebrate. Well, given that Bordeaux has dozens of very good restaurants, that should immediately tell you something. I can only add that I had, without question, the most delicious beef and Béarnaise sauce, with some amazing potato chips, that I have ever had. The atmosphere inside is... More

Nice and simple bistro for a quick lunch in between activities in the city. Food is very good and met your expectations. Had entrecôte and steak tartar.

Went to L'Orleans last night on an extremely hot August evening because it's close to our hotel and the temperature in Bordeaux was so high. Ordered oysters – they were all right but arrived without mignonette; the waitress seemed miffed when we requested it. Because of the hot weather, we asked for a white Bordeaux; we were told that they... More
