After an afternoon's sightseeing we were delighted to find the very welcoming classical establishment. The Afternoon Tea card offered a good choice of Teas and Coffees and also cakes. Service was prompt and courteous. If we had the time to dream we may have been transported to another epoch.

This is a normal cafe in a good location and drinks are as expected. Prices are okay but the service could be better.

We were staying very close to the cafe at a beautiful boutique hotel and used to walk the neighbourhood every day. The cafe was very conveniently located for us and was an ideal place for us as it has a great view of the cathedral and was the right place for us to enjoy the view and have our coffees... More

We visited Le Cafe Francais on a recent visit to Bordeaux. The location is beautiful and the restaurant is well appointed. Service was attentive and pleasant. However, the food was just average and relatively overpriced.

This is a brasserie with along history (I believe close to 100 years). It has a nice location on a square in front of the cathedral. Food and wine is OK, not excellent. Service is efficient. Relative expensive for the quality offered. But mainly because of the location recommendable.

The cafe is opposite the Cathedral and is an amazing place for a coffee and a bite to eat .. they do breakfast too, we had bacon and eggs .. done the french way .. was lovely! The front few rows of tables outside is for smokers which was ideal for me. Perfect for people watching and a rest point... More
