Just loved this place. The amazing smell of the fire as you walk in, the friendliness of the staff and the quirky dėcor all add to,the ambience. My friend and I had the rib for two, we could hardly make a dent in it, it...More

I have wanted to eat here for a long time, I was reminded of this restaurant after watching Rick’s Long Weekends, and I jetted off to Bordeaux with my sister and booked here one of the evenings. It was February and a little damp, arriving...More

We were very excited to be eating here but it was a bit of a disappointment. The restaurant setting is impressive and the first thing that meets the eye upon entering is the enormous range with an eyewatering selection of meats on display. The tables...More

Frankly, it was not amazing. Very mediocre classic french restaurant with a display of food which looks better than it tastes. For a bordeaux restaurant, wine list was expensive and very small.

Despite some of the negatives captured here, it was actually OK. Hardly a burning endorsement I know, but it is what it is. If you want the frill of Michelin, then this restaurant is not for you. It is simple well cooked food served by...More
