A great place to eat in the summer under the shade of the great tree. Cepe mushrooms served in many different ways but my favorite was the burger. Friendly staff too.

This little operation has great potential, and on the face of it initially promises a heavy presence of local Perigordian gastronomy. Alas having opted for the set lunch menu it was all very standard, and lacked the presence of such local ingredients initially promised. The price of a 20 Euro lunch menu is not steep but I have obtained a... More

The place is great - sitting outside in an old square. Freindly staff. Attentive. good value for money. My recommendation is to have a glass of local Rose wine (dry of course).

We had a very good supper under "le vieux platane" in the heart of Bergerac old city. Delicious Périgord food with divine ambient.

This wonderful restaurant in the old part of Bergerac offers a limited but delicious range of food. We had the steak and it was top quality as was the service. Nice outside in the summertime.

Our food was excellent. The restaurant was not busy, we grabbed a small spot of shade in front of the restaurant and parked for lunch, drinks and people watching. It was a slow day we had two very attentive young ladies providing service and conversation. The salad with duck gizzards was wonderful, as was the small carafe of rose. Why... More

It is a restaurant based in offering a narrow choice but well done, basically duck. Huge portions, competently done. With a main course is more tan enough, and if you are several people, some can order the set menú and share some salad around as we did. Quick and attentive service. Beautiful terrace for dining under a canopy. Not expensive,... More

We had the 13.50 Euros menu. Steak frites and a desert washed down with a Demi carafe of rose. Absolutely perfect. Food was excellent, rump steak cooked to perfection and frites to die for. Tarte aux pommes as only the French can do. Chocolate pudding was so chocolatty and gooey, yum! Service was excellent. Really can't fault it. Lovely ambiance... More

The hamburgers are actually steaks and although mine was excellently cooked and presented well, one of our party had a steak that was not very good - so at 25 euros per burger/ they really need to be spot on for every diner At almost 90 euros for three burgers and three soft drinks I think is a little on...
