Great place to eat to watch the crowds but also immerse into the French cuisine. Good attentive staff, rapid service, excellent food.

I understand mussels were not in season in April, but if they were on menu, I assumed they were imported from elsewhere and still fresh enough to eat. But no, they were smelly and left a foul aftertaste in mouth. I would stay away unless they are in season. This restaurant was a typical nasty pseudo French eatery catering for... More

We were only in St Malo for 2 days but we ate here twice. We came straight off the ferry and came here for breakfast and loved it so much that we came back for dinner the following day. We did find breakfast to be a bit pricey as including the freshly-squeezed orange juice, our bill came to 22 euros.... More

This is a hard review to write. Did we enjoy it, yes, was it perfect, no but only down to our expectations and the moules not being very big and some a bit gritty. We went to this restaurant in 2009, in the days before I ate moules. My husband had them and has claimed ever since they were the... More

We had our first meal in St Malo at this restaurant as it was recommended by the hotel. It was very busy for a Sunday lunch but the menu had a large range of dishes and our lunch was delicious. Excellent service and pleasant ambiance.

Our favourite place to eat in St Malo was closed (Bistrot Rocher) so we tried here. We had the 23 euro formule menu and the food was very good. Fish soup, a green lentil and poached egg salad, Salmon with butternut squash and cod with black spaghertti and veg were all well-prepared and tasty. Service was pleasant but not timely... More

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend who unfortunately needs re-education when it comes to dining. I had the moules frites, where the frites were crumbs of the rock solid consistency you get from the bottom of the deep fat fryer. The mussels were actually quite good but most of the shells were empty which left me feeling rather... More

Stopped for breakfast after disembarking from ferry. Had one crepe and one roll plus coffee. €20+ just not worth it. Better to find a back street place.
