Had a wonderful meal that was delicious and not expensive. Don't let the 'Pizzeria' part of the sign put you off, this is a very classic small French restaurant. We were the only tourists, everyone else were locals, business people, workers and families. Charming town and friendly people!

Nestled under the shadow of the old tower in Avallon, a little away from the busy town centre lies this wonderful architectural beauty of a restaurant. Atmospheric inside with tables over the road in the shade of the tower. Pleasant waitresses and imaginative food. I had a fabulous reblochon and lardon pizza topped with creme fraîche. My wife was bowled... More

You can marvel at the tour de l'Horloge while you are sitting outside. I had filet de merlan with an interesting vegetable accompaniment. My child had a pizza and my husband had some terrine with salad. My pain perdu for dessert was really good but my son's crème brûlée was not served warm: ( But come for the beer! They... More

We've been waiting for a good 20 Minutes without a chance to order anything. Not even beverages. We were forced to find another place.

Among the very best of our dining experiences in the Bourgogne region. My wife loved her duck dish with green beans and I found the ravioli au gorgonzola to be the tastiest ravioli I have ever eaten. The house red wine was fine, the prices quite reasonable and the service was friendly and swift. The white asparagus entrée was a... More

This is an unassuming place. Very comfortable decor and seating. Quiet and cozy. Out side it kind of claims to be a pizza joint. And the pizzas do look good. But the duck breast in dijon and black current sauce is great. What comes as sides with the plat (12 Euro) depends on the day. I have had the duck... More

stopped here regularly over twenty years and the Pizzas have stayed amazing - well worth a stop. Situated in a historic area of Avalon. Friendly too!

The pizza is great but the kids love the chicken even better. Good food very a very good price. The only remark us the toilet facilities. They are outdated, not slways clean and have problems sometimes

This small and charming setting in the old town is very pleasant. Pizza is good, I prefer hand thrown as opposed to machine made. We found the wine to be a problem. 16 euros for a 50 close pitcher which is available elsewhere for 8. We drink tap water to go with the pizza
