Came here for dinner on Sat evening and we were asked to wait for 45mins for a table so we chose to have an aperitif while waiting and ordered some drinks. 30mins later still no drink and the guy running the place was so arrogant when we asked for our drinks and his excuse was...'It's Saturday night, we are busy,... Our hotel recommended this restaurant. It's set out like an old grocery shop and serves traditional local dishes. As Dijon is in Burgundy, I was keen to try a boeuf bourguignon. It was served with gnocchi. Very nice. My wife had chicken in a mustard sauce with mashed potato. We'd shared a mixed starter. I finished with griottes (cherries) in... More

We were in Dijon on a cold Sunday evening in January and the hotel restaurant was closed so they recommended LÉpicerie, fortunately for us! Our spirits were revived with a hot & spicy pumpkin soup followed by superb rib-eye steaks (one of the best ever) and double cooked, home prepared, frites. We drank a couple of glasses of reasonable but... More

Excellent address if you want to enjoy cuisine from the region. Very nice authentic space with a hipster twist that will easily please everyone in the family, youngest to oldest.

Situated on the charming Emile Zola square the restaurant is mostly frequented by locals. When we visited it was almost fully booked so you best reserve the restaurant ... you ' ll find great food , superb wines and nice, youngand dynamic staff. In short a great restaurant to visit and enjoy after a day of shopping or visits to... More

I walked in without any accurate sense L'Episserie. A look through the window from La Place Emile Zola led me expect a small, mostly à emporter (take-out) operation. It turned out to be sprawling and to have an eccentric, but at the same time, classic (!) bead on food. And the food was terrific for its level on the gastronomic... More

We very much liked this hip & centrally located Dijon eatery. The interior's a bit like an interesting antique shop, with old advertising pieces on the walls, mismatched chairs, and even vintage sewing machines. The servers are friendly and helpful, and the plates are carefully composed. The nouvelle riff on gazpacho--a bit spicy with tiny fresh mozarella balls--was especially delicious.... More

Very busy place! Menu for everyone. I had a a lovely dish "joue de Boeuf" the place on very well decorated like a very old French grocery. The kids area is amazing !!! You can enjoy your meal and leave your kids playing together. Only one thing the place is very noisy but nothing can be really done. A must... More

Was here reading some good reviews on the internet..but turned out to be quite under expectation. The beef du bourgogone has too much wine in it that cover all taste and make it blant..and found a string of metal washing mesh in it..making it much less appetising than already was! I even forgot what the main course taste like right... More
