If you can gather 12 people around you for a gastronomic adventure, one could do worse than try the Lièvre à la Royale at the Restaurant Saint-Honoré in Tours—apart that is from the Hare itself—poor beast! You will need to book several months in advance...More

A delightful intimate environment in a former boulangerie, very attentive service, an amuse bouche arriving soon after sitting down. We both had the menu of the day, very reasonably priced 'Menu Crustacé'. Entrée an exquisite tomato presentation loaded with flavor, texture and additional prawns. Followed...More

They have nice and cozy service at any time. I recommend this restaurant to spend some amount when you can afford.

Fabulous original menu to choose from. We had the lobster starter and rabbit. Original, old world charm. Great wine list.

Came here in the rain based on the good review on TA. Unfortunately the food was just normal and the wine list extremely overpriced, especially for a location in a wine region. The food is good just not particularly interesting.

We were recommended by our B&B host to the restaurant. It's a cozy, nicely decorated place with peculiar Tour furnishing. The food is amazing and the chef (the owner) came out to greet us, which is really sweet.

We ate more expensively in our 4 days in Tours, but this small, out of the way family restaurant set the pace. Limited menu, but very nicely presented. The vegetables were just right, and my duck (plum sauce?, I didn't write it down), was perfect....More

We were on our first stopover in France and chose this restaurant as being within an easy walk from were we were staying. Not an easy place to find and it took a couple of detours to get there. Make sure you have clear directions!...More
