This is a family friendly restaurant in the center of Troyes old town. It is very popular with locals and Brits alike. The waiting staff are friendly and speak good English but personally I'd rather eat somewhere more French.

Busy and interesting restaurant with friendly waiting staff let down slightly by food. Starter of mussel soup really nice and kids pizza good, but pasta was quite bland and the two entrecote steaks were quite chewy. Shame as the waiting staff (Anthony in particular) worked so hard given how busy it was.

This place looks fantastic and has a nice atmosphere inside. The staff were nice and friendly too. Sadly I didn't think the food was anything to write home about. It is priced that way and is still good value. Just a few touches could have improved it. My soup was not hot enough and took a long time to come.... More

We ate here on our previous visit to Troyes and had an excellent meal and such good value. This time it was disappointing. The soup was good but the vegetables on our main course looked and tasted as if they had been warmed up several times. Dessert was OK though but nothing special.

At the risk of being boring as I may have already reviewed this restaurant, it is a large rambling place in one of the original old buildings dead center and my heading says it all. The service is delightful and is ideal for families as well. It is also open late on a SUnday and not many are!

We wanted to eat early, as we have young kids, but at 18:00 not many places are open. Luckily we found this place. It's a beautiful medieval style building, well situated in the centre of town. The food is classic French, but includes a great Pizza menu too. It's good quality and value, and the Waitor was really funny, joking... More

Open on a freezing cold Sunday evening, we entered a warm bright cafe style restaurant with blazing fires. Very cosy! Menu had some interesting selections. I chose the mussels to start; a bit bland but not offensive and I didn't have to fight with shells. Main course was rabbit which was very nice with a good sauce. Vegetables a bit... More

We checked this place on trip advisor and the reviews were generally poor but unfortunately we were travelling on a Bank Holiday and a Monday after Christams and New Year, so no much choice, food was edible..would I recommend, no.. Try elsewhere first

How lucky are we, on a street of so many restaurants we chose this one. The food was excellent together with good service and charming atmosphere. All at a very reasonable price, we will retune.

It is in a prime location and has a sort of old world charm but the food is really a disservice to a beautiful city, or country for that matter. I had the Linguine Pecheuer, which was actually spaghetti. Whatever's in the cupboard, I suppose but it seemed like the rest of the dish followed a similar theme. It was... More
