La Table du Marché is a true institution of the local food scene. The very professional staff didn't disappoint and played Frank Sinatra all night which always create a perfect atmosphere. We've had some good Yves Leccia white wine for 33 euros, some tasty clam linguine and a good sole meunière. I have to admit I had another sole the... More

A lot of different options. But we got advice and the fish of the day was just perfect. The best mousse aux chocolate ever. Congratulations

We followed the advice of fellow Trip advisors and went for the Menu du Jour which was a great success. Lovely table looking out over the square.

Fruit de mer of excellent quality and great location, outside under the trees, near the square. Good service experienced.

It is a good place to eat and to watch the world go by in an evening. The food is good honest Corsican fare and the value for money is reasonable. It is within easy walking distance of several hor=tels and other features in Bastia.

We were staying close to the Vieux Port and needed dinner. The places on the Port are a bit touristy, we wanted something slightly calmer. We ended up getting a table here and were so impressed we came back the next night! The food was exceptional. In particular, the set menu, at 30 euros was a steal. Usually with a... More

This place is a must go for French food in Bastia. it is always busy because locals go there for lunch or dinner. Most other restaurants go for pizza or pasta, this one goes for traditional French/ mediterranean food. You can get good oysters, good fish and good meat. Service is very professional. A must go place in this wonderfull... More

If the places ringing the old port seem too touristy and it's a hot day retreat back to this quite smart place in the "market square" of Bastia. Food was very good, service was fine as well. White table cloths and a proper menu set this place apart from the Faux rustic alternatives in Bastia.

This place oozes quality and style, with outstanding attentive service. The menus emphasises today's fish catch and presents the food in a really impressive manner, by very smart and friendly personnel. The clientele seems to reflect local people of appreciation, rather than a tourist emphasis. The prices are quite high but still so much better value than the usual line... More
