We had lunch here one Sunday after visiting the Marches des infants rouges. Very buzzy, busy place, people queuing on the street. Food was very good, nicely presented. Waiting staff are very efficient. We had smoked salmon platter and it was very generous in size with delicious smoked salmon and a cream sauce with toasts. Ravioli in a parmesan cream... More

A place with a great vibe, very close to already hipster Marais. We ordered a set of different dishes – pasta was relatively good, burgers very good – big and the sauces are delicious, although buns are a bit of a let-down. We were served quite quickly, but some of the prices are a bit steep (especially the burger seemed... More

great local vibe day or night at this busy place in La Marais. We enjoyed a burger and some wine, service was prompt and friendly. Lots of history in this place too.

Recommended by our concierge, we went for dinner. Atmosphere is very comfortable, white subway tile lined walls, with black accents and quaint lighting. We spent over 2 hours with our meals, conversation, and coffee. Chicken plate was simple but flavors in marinade and salad were delicious, and chicken burger was amazing with basil-cheese, sautéed onion, and house ranch dressing, unbelievable.... More

Good food, very friendly service. A busy brasserie so we were lucky to get a table. Excellent location to watch the world go buy and very well positioned on a sunny day. It was our second visit and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty.

Stopped here on Sunday. Started with excellent Tarama... Salad with salmon was fresh and crispy. Lovely oeuf benedict. All washed down with an excellent glass of wine. Smiling, efficient and friendly service. Good choice for a quick meal if in the Marais.

We went on a warm sunny afternoon in March for lunch. After waiting an hour the service was slow. Had a chicken sandwich on toast, average at best. The desserts were very good. Doubt we would return

The food was ok nothing to exiting compare to some of the bistros and restaurants we have been in Paris. The service is very slow. We did enjoy the mains, my salmon was cooked just the way I like it. However the restaurant is way too crowded, we literally sat next to a couple, who kept staring at us the... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
