Probably a place more suited for aperitifs rather than dinner, but very interesting as they let you choose amongst a massive list of hams and cheese that will end up in your customised cutting board. Prices are fair for the quality of food. We were...the only one in the lower ground floor and at some point we had the impression that staff forgot about us (before asking of we want dessert!), but these are things that could happen. In general it was a very pleasing experience! Recommended!More
Le 17.45 Batignolles is in the 17th arr. It is a fun, chic little place, with dark walls and interesting lighting in the restaurant area and white subway tiles and open shelving visible in the food prep area. A great vibe for a young crowd....The restaurant serves fabulous charcuterie and cheese from all corners of France on "planches" - meat and cheese platters on tiles or boards, and an assortment of wine by the glass and bottle. You choose all the items for your platter from the extensive menu - from smoked and cured meats to cheeses to chutneys to crunchy radishes - so you can have a few perfect items or a vast assortment, depending on your appetite and your time constraints. Prices are very good for Paris - two of us ate and drank well for under 50 Euro. The staff were very friendly and helpful - suggesting a specific cheese to round out our choices. We lived in France for a year, and have been back many times on vacation - we found new flavours and old favourites in their selections. We were too full for dessert, but there were some excellent choices on the menu. Next time! So when you want a delicious unpretentious snack with a friend (or friends) - either before you head out to a party or after going to one of the many local theatres - do stop in at 17.45 Batignolles (or its sister restaurant Le 17.45 Republique). You won't be disappointed.More
Heaven for foodies who are serious about good French cheese but hate pretentious restaurants with waiters in suits. The concept is you build your own cheese board by choosing from a knock out selection of cheese and charcuterie as well as fruit and veggie sides....There’s a great wine list - with a lot of wines by the glass - and cocktails too. The staff are super chill and the vibe is very much unpretentious, laid back fun and some seriously good When we were there we were the only non-French table, the menu is all in French and so the vibe is really authentic, just Parisians catching up for wine and cheese after work - just what we wanted.More
This restaurant was just blocks from our hotel as we were in Paris just for the one night. It is certainly a foreign concept to these Americans, but platters of cheeses and meats sounded like apptz and not a meal. We arrived by 7p, and...we were the only ones in the restaurant, Louis/Lewis took us under his wing and through my broken French we had drinks and two of best meat and cheese platter one could ask for. It's like sitting around a kitchen table and picking and choosing food with your favorite chef. We had a ball, food was fresh and hugs and kisses (both cheeks) all around as we left, and yes we were full, Tab not bad about 80 Euros incl drinks for three.More
This restaurant only serves “planches” out of a list of more than 40 typical French cheeses and meats. You can make your own “planche”. The products are all very good quality for an affordable price. Best served with a good glass of French wine. This...restaurant is the 2nd restaurant of 17.45 and opened only in December 2017. You can find another one, opened in 2016 not so far from the Arc de Triomphe. Really great concept!More
The cheese, the charcuterie and the wine were really good. The room and the staff were also nice and made you feel comfortable. It was a pretty fun night.
For me it's the best restaurant of paris because we can make "les planches" as we like on France. The kindness of the team is amazing and it' sa great restaurant !! :) I recommand it !! Xoxo
Absolutely gorgeous and delicious food. We had the plate of the day and it was filled with delicious cheeses, sausages and ham placed beautifully on one big platter. As dessert we had the best ever tiramisu. I will definitely recommend this restaurant!
I came here for a dinner of cheese and charcuterie accompanied by beautiful wines. Nice service and delicious products at reasonable prices. Book a table as it easily gets crowded!
