We went there with my young son (4 yo). The charming lady who welcome us was very helpful and she spoke a fluent english and italian, which helped us. She described all the dishes and spent time to make sure we were happy and satisfied...with our dinner. Food was really good especially the Pate-creambrule! Book before going, it is small and it gets full very quickly! I would go back anytime!More

We chose this restaurant because of the good TripAdvisor reviews, but I was not impressed. The service was slow, the food very average and because it's Paris, expensive. Too many tables and chairs crammed into a very small space; there's cosy and there's squashed. This...was the latter.More

We went here for lunch twice as we needed just a simple meal. This cafe is in a quiet lane with good atmospheres and the waiter was very friendly and spoke enough English to be able to help Us with our selection. They have a...good selection of wine by the glass and they make great burgers. Good value and nice food.More

Today we arrived at ouur rental apt. in the mid-afternoon so we decided to rest and have an early dinner. We selected La Petula because it was literally just around the corner. And, we were the first to enter. My wife and I both had...a delicious mixed salad with French dressing. I followed up with a dish of ricotta with small shrimps topped off with black olives paste, very tasty. My wife went for a creme brulee' since she was not hungry but it was such a healthy portion that she left feeling quite full (as did I). When we walked by the place a little later was over-flowing with people! Recommendation: if you want tto eat in peace and quiet, go early. This is a very popular restaurant.More

I'm a Parisian and a gourmet. I have been invited in this restaurant which is just a joke. Service is dull, they don't even know the wines they have. The food is ... Nothing and the place looks bad. To avoid absolutely. This kind of...restaurant hurts the French tradition and has no reason to exist. There is fast foods which are cheaper and less pretentious. To the tourists who wants to discover interesting french cuisine, try the Pantruche, Vivant, Garnier for oysters, le gourmet des ternes (meet) and also les routiers rue Marx Dormoy (Typically popular)More

We had a great meal here yesterday in this small restaurant. Run by a single waiter who worked enormously hard with great charm, the place was full (we had already booked). The atmosphere was friendly, the food delicious and it was very good value. For...some people, the wait for food from the small kitchen may have proved too much, but we were very relaxed and didn't notice the time. Clearly the other guests, mostly locals I would guess and a youngish crowd, were very happy with it. This is a more casual place and the decor reflects that. I will definitely go again on my next visit to Paris.More

Food was excellent, the waiter was super efficient and food arrived in a very short time. On top of that, we had a 50% discount for booking in advance through "la fourchet" app. Bill was only 27 Euros, considering two people eating main courses and...starters, this is the best price ever for Parisian standards. Also, all the dishes were very well made and were served in generous portions.More

You expect slow in France, but this was seriously rediculous. Appetizers took 25 minutes, the main course (kabob and burgers) 45 to 50 minutes. Burger in Paris? With kids that's not always bad. The wine was ok, and the food passable. You expect more in...Paris. It was also extremely warm in the restaurant exasperating the feeling of time. Maybe an off night.More

Le Pétula is a great place. It's our fifth time (three times together with friends) and it is always a lot of fun! Great food, good wines and good service! We'll come back!

I went a few nights ago with a friend who had a coupon. We had a nice time. The soufflé with the fois gras was delicious- I would come back just for that. I got a potato purée dish with duck at the bottom. The...duck was cooked until tender and it had very good flavor. I could have done without all the potato but I did leave full and happy with my meal. I had a fine crème brûlée for dessert. I'd go back.. didn't rock my world but for the price it's fine. I had a nice time.More
