We had breakfast twice at this spot. It's near the Eiffel so you have a bit of a view, but more importantly, the breakfast was exactly what we needed and reasonable. I also liked the fact that the music was recognize able and the coffee was great ! The price was also right and MUCH cheaper than what our hotel... More

Had lunch here and the food was all pretty good. I had the mussels which were awesome the bread was nice and the soup my wife got was good as well. I was disappointed with the wine the server suggested but the service was good and the place was clean. I would certainly stop in again for the mussels.

This is a short distance from the Eiffel Tower. Take a cab. The atmosphere inside was wonderful. The food was so good. Mary loved the French Onion soup!! They sell Macaroon cookies, which don't look like ours, but are awesome. Our waitress Jamila was so wonderful. Lots of food choices and has an English side on the menu. We would... More

Great duck confit, really good vegetarian pasta and really excellent HUGE entrée salads. Agree with a previous reviewer that the burgers just aren't the thing to get here if you are American because the beef in France rarely tastes anything like American beef IMO... maybe what they are fed, don't know, just know my husband has ordered beef over and... The staff was really welcoming and polite. The tables are a little small if you want to have lunch or dinner but the seating is perfect if you are passing for a quick bite. They have a lot of tasty desserts and coffee.

Terrible service, classic grumpy old style parisian. Asked for a Negroni but was told that was not on the menu. Went to the bar and asked the barman if he had gin, campari, and rosso. He did, however said could not make it if it was not on the menu. The worst example so far of customer satisfaction. Avoid the... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
