My friend and I happened to stop here by chance and I'm sooooo glad we did. I am still dreaming about their warm vanilla milk.... it was the best drink I've ever had in my LIFE. Their desserts were delicious also. The next time I'm in Paris, this will be my first stop!!

Coffee and Eclaire are good, but really expensive. Sitting outside in the sun, enjoying the view makes it almost worthwile.

We stopped in here for a quick dessert and coffee. I thought my husband was going to die of happiness between the macaroons and eclairs. The coffee was great too. It was perfect before visiting the Eiffel Tower.

I was neutral to "hot chocolate" but tasting is something Else, they have the best hot chocolate ever, don't miss it. as for the staff, the majority is rude.

I absolutely love Carette. I'd give anything for one of their delicious eclairs. The place is crowded but I would not trade this for anything else. We came for lunch and the food was pretty good. Perfect for after enjoying the Eiffel Tower.

I transited in Paris during a business trip, I decided to go having breakfast in a place close to the Eiffel Tower. Carette was my decision due to the care of the details of that place. I had a very nice breakfast crepe and café. The crepe was really good and the café acceptable for France. I can suggest that... More

A nice mix of locals and tourists, great for coffee and desserts but a very welcoming place for any time of the day really. Great service and elegant surroundings.

Have a table on the terrace and enjoy every moment. Feel like a Parisienne. Incredible pastries, great coffee. Service and ambience have never failed me. Usually it's my first stop every time I'm in Paris. Don't miss their macaroons( Rose and raspberry) and chocolat chaud.

We stopped here, proximity to the Eiffel, for lunch after the ‘Big Bus’ Paris tour, if you want a indoors table for two couples at La Carette on a cold-wet day, be prepared to wait. We loved the atmosphere and food but it’s not cheap. Great coffee and best spot for macarons in Paris, France.

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
