Great Cafe. When we walked in the place was very empty so I was unsure what kind of experience we have, but Louise greeted us like family and it turned out great. Since it was empty we got all the attention. The food was very good and the service was great. Louise treated my pregnant wife like family. I would... More

Great little place to take in the Parisian way of life. Enjoying good food, strong coffee and a relaxed demeanour.

Thank you TripAdvisor! Without TripAdvisor I would never have hunted this little cafe down. I am so happy I did. My mother, daughter, and I had a late dinner here on a very cold night. I have to rate the Chestnut soup as the most tasty soup I have ever had! Excellent!! The owner was there and was super sweet... More

Found this cafe near our hotel. We had a really nice lunch there. The daughter greeted us and took our orders. She was very nice and teased my husband that even though their burgers were very good, that he was comparing it to the "burger capital" coming from Texas. Stop in if you are close. You will be happy you... More

This humble-looking cafe is not far from the Louvre, and yes, we were only drawn to this place given the high ratings on TripAdvisor, and we were certainly not disappointed!! The staffs were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Both my husband and I tried their soup and it was simple but delicious, perfect for a winter day.... More

First time I went there, but probably not the last. Simple, small café. I had lunch à la carte, the soup was delicious. Friendly service, warm welcome. Perfect for a nice lunch

Some of the dishes were excellent (lamb shank, escargot) but others were mediocre (boeuf bourguignon, tarte tatin). The beef was tough and lacked the full bodied flavour that is normally associated with the dish. The tarte tatin was soggy as though it had sat for a long time and then was reheated in a microwave. Owner was very friendly, as... More

The area immediately around the Louvre can feel a little hectic, but walk 5 minutes farther and you will be rewarded with one of the friendliest brasseries in town. Not surprisingly, it has a family feel because it's run by Lily and her mother Louise. The menu is mainly French brasserie staples, which is what we had, plus a carafe... More

Had the most wonderful experience at Louise cafe. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped in, and with a 9 month old baby, we felt at home. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food was delicious! Lilie the lovely lady who looks after the restaurant even looked after our baby when we were... More

I chose this cafe based on Trip Advisor positive reviews and wasn't at all dissapointed. Louise runs this cafe with her mum and is a lovely lady. She is warm and welcoming and takes an interest in finding out a bit about you and just having a chat. As usual it is these small things that make such a difference... More
