Let me start with an explanation. There are 2 restaurants of virtually the same name, a few doors apart from each other, the same ownership. We were a group of 6, looking for something different. We found it. A great Italian hide-away. Not fancy, but...very genuine, with great staff. We started with burrata and tomatoes to share and then we all had different meals. I went for the spaghetti with mascarpone and lemon, very good, whilst a few others opted for the pappardelle with truffles. Generous serves, reasonably priced. And in the middle of Paris, in the heart of the world's best wines, we enjoyed a fine bottle of Italian wine.More

One of the worst Italian meals I have ever tasted. If they had opened a can of tomatoes and just poured it onto the pasta I would not have been surprised. Their answer was "nobody else complained". I had read a review and was expecting...good things but was bitterly disappointed. The food was lifeless and boring, some staff were great but others just rude. We had a great bottle of wine, but you are in Paris, you can get a great bottle of wine anywhere. There is a reason that there are 7500 better rated places to eat on Tripadvisor.More

Do not miss the opportunity to eat here if you are near Le Louvre. We loved this restaurant so much we ate here twice during our visit to Paris - once for lunch and once for dinner. The pasta is made in-house and all of...the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The pappardelle with truffles was one of the best dishes I ate all week! The restaurant is a small but cosy space with a great atmosphere, just a few blocks from the Louvre Rivoli metro stop. The staff is extremely friendly and they are happy to give recommendations for wine to pair with the food. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely eat here again on our next trip to Paris.More

Lovely, authentic little neighborhood Italian which, on our recent weekend visit to Paris, put some of its high-falutin' pricier competition to shame. We shared a starter of a simple, healthy and fresh salad alongside some garlic bread, our Italian house white (Pecorino I think) was...tasty and refreshing, Signora's main was a fine carbonara and I had a beautiful and simple dish of fusili, prawns, tomatoes and courgette, lovingly sprinkled with tarragon I do believe. Superb. Reasonably priced, lovely friendly service, several lessons which could be noted by nearby gaffs with bigger reputations, higher prices and much less enjoyable fare.More

Buonissimo! Stumbled upon this by accident and almost had second thoughts but so glad we went in...excellent homemade food and very friendly. The best outside of Italia!

This diminutive trattoria serves up some of the best Italian fare we've had outside of Italy. My wife had perfectly cooked, freshly-made fusilli with a sauce including green bean, mint and ricotta. Her description: Wonderful! I enjoyed a delightful a large serving of Piedmont Risotto...au Castelmagno. Menus are on hand written chalk boards and show both the dine-in and take-away prices. Don't expect to converse with the staff in English, but with a little effort you can ultimately arrive at mutual understanding.More
