The service is always great and warm, you really feel welcome and the staff (Italian for most!) is always very knowledgable of what they have, always happy to give honest recommendations and explanations about the items and ingredients. The pizze are great and great value for money. Service is efficient. I couldn't recommend this place more! Super intimate. Très bonnes... More

Delighted to be able to visit La Briciola 2x in our 8 day visit. Phillipe and crew continue to run a consistent restaurant that serves excellent pizza, fresh salads, solid Italian wines by the glass and more. A meal here is always cozy, convivial and relaxing.

Think proper Italiano pizza. Great staff, crowded (you'll understand why.. ). Lovely dinner and just simply amazing pizza! Mostly locals go here so you might well be the only tourist there :-) Book in advance though.....

Delicious pizza and Aperol spritz. Charming staff and cool setting. We ended up taking a seat at the bar rather than waiting for a table. It was the perfect ending to a long day of sightseeing.

A friend of ours lives in the neighborhood and brought us to this very cute Italian in Le Marais last weekend. I have to say, I was quite impressed with everything. We could not decide between pizza and pasta so we shared a delicious pizza (smoked mozzarella and zucchini) as appetizer and each had the calamara pasta with asparagus as... More

We came in late at night and was greeted by an extremely friendly staff who placed us in the bar (since the resto was full), and served us delicious starters and very good pizza for mains. I would recommend the espresso-icecream for dessert and Aperol Spritz is very good. We will definitely go back next time in Paris.

I’m feeling a little bloated as I write this... The pizza tasted good. That’s the important thing. It’s thin crust, but not the cracker crust you might find in Italy or Chicago or California, more like New York. It’s soft. You can fold it into a calzone if you wish, as New Yorkers like to do. It’s fluffy, white bread,... More

It looks like a cute little place from the street, this kind of restaurant all the neighbours love. Good food (I enjoyed the pancetta pizza), efficient service but my friend and myself were asked to move out fast ... because people were waiting. Bitter aftermath taste in the mouth ...

Great authentic (thin crust) Pizza. Located in the heart of Le Marais, staff extremely friendly...establishment suitable for families with unpretentious Atmosphere. A local gem frequented by students after-work clientele. Highly recommended.

We've been frequenting La Briciola on a weekly basis when in Paris for over 5 years now. It is so consistent and consistently good that we just keep coming back. Phillipe does a wondeful job of maintaining the consistency - of the kitchen, staff, service and the informal, casual dining experience.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
