Diogo was a terrific host! The five course food and wine/champagne pairing was très bien! Throughout our stay in Paris, we visited several highly recommended restaurants (including a few recommended by Diogo, as well) and I must say, this was definitely the BEST meal we...ate while in Paris! Diogo is a true professional -- he really knows how to entertain! From the table décor and meal presentation to pairing and flavors, it was all pretty much perfect. My husband and I booked this dinner because he loves game meat. He is originally from Montana and I am from NY area so our taste buds don't always quite match up but I try to be open minded. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the chef, the sommelier, and the pastry chef...all very nice, very knowledgeable, very experienced. I would do this again in a second! Great food and great wine. We had an incredibly great time with Lizzie, Diego, and Christophe. We dined at in their apartment close to the Eiffel Tower. Lizzie and Christophe prepared lovely courses, and Diego paired our wines to complement our dinner. Our hosts are well traveled, and could make...anyone comfortable. We really enjoyed our evening at your event. We felt very welcome, and comfortable in your home right from the moment we arrived. I was in Paris by myself and found on eatwith.com a scheduled dinner by Dili Gastronomy. The apartment is really cozy, the food was amazing, the wine pairings were much more than I could ever choose by myself at a restaurant, and the group was...really friendly, chatty and fun. I'll definetely be visiting them again, great experience!More
