We were walking in Paris near boulevard St Michel and my French friend proposed to go to the Georgian restaurant Pirosmany. The restaurant was absolutely empty but the only waitress spoke the mobile non-stop and did not care about taking the order, bringing food, etc....My meal was awful: resembled the Russian canteen, over-stewed meat (promised as duck) with dry rice in clods tasted cotton. Saperavi wine was not enough dense I On the door, it was promised free wifi but the waitress answered they did not have it.More

We were on the prowl to find something warm to eat on this cold and drizzly nite. Out of the blue, it materialized on the opposite side of the small street. We crossed the street and peeked inside. The place seemed to be small and...packed. We took our chances and walked in. There was a table availble in the back. Dish names were familiar so we didnt hasitate much. Turns out the Adjaruli Khachapuri was not that great and looked like it was filled with the french cheese instead. Other dishes were served with rice and were sufficiently flavoured with herbs. Service was a bit on a slow side (french style) but courteous and pleasant.More

A little restaurant well located in the Latin neiborhood. It was the first time that I tasted the Georgian cuisine and it was a good experience. I recommend this restaurant.

We wanted to get some Georgian food and visit the restaurant. The plan was to order Khachapuri (that was good) and a soup. I ordered Kharcho and my wife another what we thought was a soup as well, and were surprised getting two large main...courses. The food was Ok but since Khachapuri is very filling it turned to be too much food we were not counting on. Unfortunately they do not make our favorite Adjarian Khachapuri, and we did not get our soups...The other restaurant Tamada makes Adjarian, we ate there and it was very good.More

We quite looked forward to trying Georgian cuisine in Paris as we love many dishes there for their fragrance and use of spices. ⠀ But as turned out this was a wrong choice of restaurant to try. There are only two Georgian restaurants in Paris...and we hope the second one will be better. It will be an easy task as food in Pirosmani was below average at best. ⠀ With exception of quite a good khachapuri - traditional Georgian bread with melted cheese - rest of order was not up to usual standards of cuisine from this Caucasus country. ⠀ They also famous for service and hospitality, something that was completely missing in Pirosmani - they let us in one hour and a half after official opening hours and took another 40 mins to bring first food to our table. So, absolutely not recommended and better to avoid.More

This was our first experience with Georgian cuisine, ever. And we were not disappointed. The waitress kindly took time to answer our, no doubt, uncultured questions. The service was very quick, too. We particularly liked their specialty cheese bread, grilled eggplant and the meat dumplings....Brought home leftovers in the end. So glad to have discovered this cozy restaurant.More

Had a great evening with my friends! The Georgian wine suggested by the team was perfect for the food ordered.

Our daughter suggested we try this restaurant as it is one of her favorites. So, we went for lunch. Didn't really know what to expect. We shared the cheese galette and then I ordered the formule midi (entree/plat) for 15 euros. I chose the creamed...spinach starter and the stuffed grape leaves for main course. Husband got an eggplant starter and a lamb stew ordered a la carte. First let me say, don't order too much food. The portions are enormous. All the food was really very good, but there was just too much of it. We did ask if they could package up what we couldn't finish as there was so much of it and they were very nice to do so. We found service to be very good and very attentive. I recommend the restaurant highly and would not hesitate to return.More

I've never eaten Georgian food before in my life. We saw this place and tried it. It was an amazing experience, for which now I consider Georgian one of my favourite cuisine. The place is small and a bit dark, but it's the perfect setting...to take you out of Paris to Georgia. I recommend in particular to accompany your meal with a katchapourri, a typical cheese galette.More

We came around 7.30pm without reservation and got a table, but since its a rather small place booking is probably a good idea:)
