The place looks amazing but I have to say the service is terrible. Firstly it's not tourist friendly as there is no English menu and they seem to be really proud of it. Secondly the waiters/waitress were quite unfriendly as they never smiled. We had our entrees and waited for another 20 minutes and were told the kitchen was closed... More

The Brasserie Printemps is one unique venue. The tables have mirrors on them so that you can enjoy the stunning sealing. The service is beyond superb and the menu is full of good eats. From salads to deserts. You could lick your fingers. Look forward to visit this amazing venue on my next trip to Paris.

The amazing large stained glass dome is the main reason to seek out this place. Had a large Caesar salad and a braised veal with rice. Very nice meal with good service. I tried to speak french to the waiter but he took pity on me and spoke English.. Go for lunch, you won't be disappointed .

Worth the visit and the food (which is good actually) just to enjoy the stained glass dome, truly amazing. The service was just average, but if you get good seat you will really enjoy this wonder of French turn of the century architecture.

This spot is usually busy but it is worth a wait just to be able to sit under the cupole and have lunch. Food is surprisingly good but it is the atmosphere that enhances this experience.

Last week I enjoyed lunch at the Brasserie du Printemps for the second time, having visited a few years ago on a similar occasion. This time we were 3 adults and 1 toddler. Although the staff maintained their patience with us and helped as much as they could, I could not help but feel all eyes on us as our... More

After a long and tiring day of sightseeing on foot in very hot weather, it was a relief to come into this cool and elegant brasserie. Unobtrusive service provided me with a glass of chilled rosé and something to nibble on. The surroundings are gorgeous. Try to sit under the stained-glass dome at one of the mirrored tables.

Inspired location. Unimaginably beautiful glass dome over the entire restaurant. Good menu choices ably prepared. We return every year when we're in Paris. It never disappoints. Don't miss the view of Sacre Cour from the rear windows!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
