Stopped in for an evening meal. Host was welcoming and the out look of the restaurant to the rear garden very pleasant. The service was prompt and attentive throughout the evening. Started with a seafood cream soup which was quite tasty. This was followed by the duck fillet with honey which was cooked perfectly to order. All in all a... More

I chose this restaurant because of good reviews on tripadvisor. We had dinner twice at Le Jardin d’Ivy. The first night was very good. We loved the raviolis with crab appetizer. We returned because we wanted to get the raviolis again. The second visit, they were raviolis with spinach. They were good, but not as great as the crab ravioli.... More

Great food, charming place and serviceminded people. In a place where tourist-traps rules the market, this one offers quality french cuisine. Try the escargots!

Philippe is an excellent host, and he makes sure your meal is as good as it can get. I have to visit this place at least once every time I am in Paris. The escargot are the best I have ever had - they really stand out! Don't expect michelin star experience, but rather an authentic French dinner at a... More

I ate here 4 times over a two week period, having the 29 euro 3 course menu each time. All of the dishes were consistently good - my faves were the house terrine, the blanquette de veau and the creme brulee. The owners/servers were great - friendly and helpful. Nice wine list and drinks selection. Nice interior with a beautiful... More

The set lunch menu is good value for money. Some seats are next to the garden with a pleasant view. Owner/waiter very helpful and accommodating.

We were looking for a restaurant on Rue Mouffetard and chose this because we like the menu posted outside. It did not disappoint. We chose the prix fixe menu. Appetizers were ok, but the main dishes were excellent. I chose the scallops and my husband chose the three fishes special. Both were delicious! The accompanying Chablis was wonderful. My dessert... We spent 3 nights in Paris and ate in Jardin D'Ivy twice. The garden is lovely and easily visible from the dining room. The food is excellent. Maigret de canard is outstanding and desserts are to die for. I would recommend.

Best meal we had on our visit, the waiter was friendly and had a touch of Aragorn about him. Food was delicious and the low sound of the disco soundtrack in the back ground was lovely. When we arrived we were the only ones there and were slightly worried but the place soon filled up. Top of our list for... More

My partner and were fortunately enough to choose this restaurant last night after much deliberation on so many restaurants within this vicinity. Not much from the outside compared to some which were busy and enticing, however, from the moment we made our choice we couldn't have been happier. The waiter/manager was awesome as was all of our courses. Our mains... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
