We were avoiding this place on Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière for some time with one simple explanation - there are way too many options to mix together a salad, too many bases and too many ingredients. Also, way too many people during a busy lunch...break. ⠀ But as it happens, those very reasons make this Salad Bar such a great place for a fresh and healthy meal. All one needs to do is choose a base - we loved quinoa and rocket - and then follow the colours guide for ingredients. Marked with green is slightly cheaper, those with blue are more expensive. ⠀ Featured here is excellent fusilli salad with chicken, sweet peppers, artichokes, sundried tomatoes and olives, seasoned with virgin olive oil. The portion is not only looked big, it was big and very tasty. ⠀ Here at Mongoo staff is very generous in their approach to how much to throw into your bowl - you will be happy and full! I highly recommend this place. The salads are delicious. I hesitated going here but the concept of salad sur measure is really fabulous. the ingredients are of very good quality. The staff is helpful. Lot of seating space. In all, I love it.
