Arrived 10 minutes before happy hour ended and asked if it would be ok to get happy hour drinks and the told us to get seated. Tried to order but no one came by until a minute within happy hour ending and the lady taking our order rudely informed us that happy hour ended.

Arrivée à 19:30. Attente de 20 mn avant d'avoir un coca tiède. Most of the waiters are just pacing the place, looking busy.

While walking with friends in Paris we stopped here for a lunch. Service was good. Food average. The Entrecote was too well done. Difficult to cut. Coffee below competition.

A typical French bistro, well prepared food and a swift service. For as was a good experience although a the drinks are quite expensive (5 euro for a 33 cl Coca Cole).

Just called by for a cappuccino - which was disgusting - the waiter refused to change it - my two neighbours confirmed that ir was undrinkable. The waiter was arrogant, ignorant and rude - I had ordered in English which he understood and in French told two of his waiter colleagues that he would get us all to leave BUT... More

After having lunch at Cafe Cassette I had planned on writing a glowing review. My wife had the tomato burrata and I had the ceviche. Complimented by reasonably priced Sancerre and Chardonay the flavors of both dishes were remarkable and among the more memorable lunches we've had on numerous visits to Paris. Lunch was so outstanding that we decided to... More

Once upon a time Cafe Cassette was a place I called home. It was a steadfast respite with good bistro food served in very pleasant surroundings, with a busy outdoor terrace that swept into the more quiet and even private corners indoors. That was then. Now the food is to die from, rather than die for... We both ordered the... More

I stayed in Saint-Germain for a week and found this café to be a classic Parisien café. We had breakfast one day which was very tasty and not too expensive (much cheaper than Les Deux Magots round the corner). We then returned for lunch another time as we were in the area again. I had an excellent beef tartare with... More

It is hard to get used to the fact that when you pay 18 Euro for a meal that it includes a the meat dish and boiled potatoes or chips, but this seems to be the norm in Paris. The chicken Caesar was OK but saturated in dressing. The chicken maryland which was a chef specialty tasted under cooked and... More
