For as high as the ratings were, this place was a huge disappointment. The artichoke salad was tasteless, the steak was overpowered by soy, the cod was doused in lemon which left the beans bitter. The wine did not compliment meal and even hindered the...enjoyment. The doors to the hotel were open and a loud child was a terribl distraction. We opted to forgo dessert and coffee. There are far too many others places to go to. Don’t waste your time here.More

We were on holiday in Paris and just looking for a good place to grab a quick breakfast. Right by our Airbnb, we came across Metropolitan. After our first breakfast there, we were hooked. We returned every morning for the duration of our trip. The...food is just amazing. I’ve been a chef for a decade and I’m not easily impressed. But they really go above and beyond with expertly executed dishes. We went for the simple and hearty food. Just perfectly cooked eggs with salmon for my girlfriend and ham for myself. The orange juice was fresh, the croissants were flaky and delicious, the baguettes had a lovely crunch with a soft cloud like center. The staff was also great. The gentleman who took care of us every morning was prompt and had an excellent memory. By the third morning he knew exactly what we wanted and how. The welcome we recieved was always very warm. Just a lovely start to the day. I would highly recommend this to anybody visitingMore

The food was expensive, tasteless, late, and the waiter was rude. We will never come back and taking into account the enormous variety of restaurants around, I would recommend to choose another one.

We were there last evening since our hotel is on the other side of the street, but the waiter was absolutely unfriendly. As entering the restaurant, he not even welcomed us and just pointed at a table, where we should take a seat. Instead of...a whole menu, he showed us a board, where some foods are written in English. As i asked for the drinks, he banged the french menu on the table withiut saying a word (finally the whole menu). Then we wanted to order two omelettes and he just answered „Thats why I didnt get you the whole menu, we dont do omelette right now“, took the menu away and went outside. The omelette was also written down on the board, he showed us at the very beginning, so his statement doesn‘t made any sense. Finally, we just got up and went outside, to look for another restaurant.More

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here recently during a visit to Paris. We sat on the patio which was great especially as there was an awning which rolled down to protect us from the slight rain. We had a simple meal but it was...delicious. Hamburger and a smoked salmon club sandwich. Drinks were good too. Service was attentive but not bothersome. We sat and enjoyed the ambiance for some time. Good value.More

I've been to this restaurant several times and it I has always been good food for decent prices. I had last a very nice tuna steak perfectly cooked. Service is quick and good.
