Food was good, but had to wait half an hour for it which was a bit annoying, also they were slow to clear the plates before offering desert menu. Considering the quality of the food and service we received elsewhere whilst in Paris would probably return to this restaurant.

This restaurant was a recommendation from our concierge after unable to get reservations for le grand corbet. La Brasserie du Louvre turned out to be excellent. Service was superb and the meal the best I have had in Paris thus far. I had the laser beef and although I ordered it well done it was perfect with some pink but... More

As Louvre was closed due to attack we had to change restaurants and this was a superb find. Excellent service food and wine. Lovely atmosphere and given a table by the window even though we had not booked. Try the scallops

I discovered the Brasserie du Louvre recently on a trip to Paris. The location is wonderful as it is located opposite the building of the Comédie Française. Inside this restaurant you will find the typical brasserie environment. My dinner was excellent. I have to say that it was on a Monday night so the traffic was very light and the... More

I resisted eating here as I assumed it was a tourist trap with sub par food. I was totally wrong. The food (lunch) was excellent. Satisfied a vegetarian and meat eater. The ambience is relaxed and the staff are very friendly. The price however was more than I expected! I would definitely recommend eating lunch here.

Visited here on a Monday night. Bought three bottles of wine. Been here many times before, manager remembered us. Waitress, Chloe, fantastic. Food great. Wine great. Manager asked my mil and i to move from our table when he saw us playing cards saying he had guests in 20 mins for the table. We happily moved. 1.5 hrs later? No... More

I invited friends who visited Paris to this restaurant. Chose this place because it is very close to Louvre, literally just in a square in front of the museum, convenient for visitors who definitely want to be as close as possible to the tourist attractions. Did not expect much, initially. But surprisingly, the place was super nice (classic classy parisian... More

We stayed at the Hotel du Louvre and the brasserie is used to serve breakfast to guests. The buffet is adequate but lacks and real finesse. Service is good.

Our Christmas Day dinner was delicious, and we enjoyed the quiet ambience. The duck with orange sauce was a favorite dish.

A bright and lively brasserie with pale yellow walls and dark wood with gold fittings, Brasserie du Louvre has a typical Parisian atmosphere. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served daily.
Traditional French cuisine with seasonal variations and a menu that changes monthly is created by Executive Chef Mehdi Corthier. The a la carte menu features fresh seafood and regional specialities. During the summertime the terrace is filled with flowers and it is possible to sit and enjoy the view from the Place de Palais Royal across to the Comédie Française and the Louvre Museum.
