Booking procedure and respect for customers are part of a real good experience. The arrogance here is not acceptable. Compare with some other excellent tables in the area where booking procedure is respectful, even though they are as booked as Frenchie. You were on my...More

This was our favorite meal in Paris (the restaurant, not the wine bar across the street). The flavor combinations were amazing. I'm gluten free and eat only fish. My friend is a vegetarian and does not eat fish. They happily catered to both of us....More

It is a very lively place, noisy, bursting, you share the table with others. Come right after opening (6.30pm) to secure the seats. Menu is very compact, but could suit all tastes. Small plates meant to be shared, something like Spanish tapas. I would come...More

My husband and I had an epic dinner here recently. We lucked out with seats at the chef’s table. There are only 2 seats, so it was especially fun. Felt like we were having our own little dinner party with the chefs. There is no...More

We have the prix fixe meal at Frenchie Restaurant, not the Bar a Vins across the street from this restaurant. Meal was wonderful, with each course explained and ordered a great bottle of wine that paired well with each course. Service was excellent and cost...More

Being an experienced restaurant guest we had a very unusual and disappointing experience at Frenchie Restaurant. The room was very hot and needed some fresh air. The amuse bouche was a poor gazpacho of strawberry and tabasco; the latter being a relatively strange ingredient for...More

Nice restaurant, with small but solid menu. Reminded us of restaurant concepts in LA or Venice. We sat at a community table and tried a few dishes. Our mistake, but we ordered too many similar items with sausage - a bit of an overload. Skip...More

We arrived 20 minutes prior to opening and got a seating at their bar! Within 5 minutes of opening, the place was packed and probably a 2 hour wait after that. Everything we had was delicious: the Stilton Cheese plate, burrata, smoked eel, octopus and...More

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,
and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here,
modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in

Our hotel concierge secured the reservation for us less than a month in advance. As for the staff, they all speak perfect English and are more than happy to converse with you that way. “Frenchie,” does, one of the sous chefs... More
