We loved this cosy, relaxed little bistro which is tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of central Paris. We arrived without reservation in the late afternoon where there were just one other couple present and so had little issue with finding a table. Staff here are so helpful and accommodating, so much so that by the time we... More

The prix fixe menu was enjoyed. The restaurant itself is cute and the staff was nice and accommodating. We were able to have a table without a reservation. The salad with goat cheese as a started was good in flavor and the dressing complimented. The house made duck confit was crispy and again enjoyed. The dessert of Greek yogurt and... More

We discovered this restaurant by walking through the side streets of the Latin quarter and although on first glances we were dubious about going in, we decided we would give it a go. The food turned out to be fantastic and the service we received was just as good. It was very reasonably priced and the nextra time we are... More

Hotel staff recommended this, so I checked it out my first night in Paris. Ordered from the menu, not one of the plats du jour, which may have made a difference. I had a salad with lettuce walnuts, tomato, cheese, lightly dressed, and the duck confit, which were both excellent. Others who ordered the duck confit from the plat du... More

We went here late at night after an evening tour but ended up walking out after the first course and getting a crepe down the road. My ravioli were cold in a milky tasteless sauce. My husband second course was the smelliest lamb I have ever smelled and he spit out his first bite it was so awful. My Bourgogne... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant around the corner for good food. Our party of 4 each tried something different, including duck and pork. I had the pork with apples which was amazing. This was one of my favorite meals in Paris and was a welcome start to our visit. The staff was typical in that they served when needed and... More

Excellent authentic food, service and location for good value. Had the lentil soup, beef bourgeon, lamb, etc and all was cooked to order, tender and delicious with great service and no pretentiousness at all. Wouldn't hesitate to go again next time in Paris and do highly recommend.

Our last night in Paris, we opted for something small and close to our flat. A good choice! The food was just fine...nothing special but well prepared. The service was efficient , friendly and not too rushed as in many places. I don't think a lot of tourists come here although it's in touristy St Germain. As to cost, well,... More

Good quality, very good service and at a relatively low price (menu 18€) in this area in Paris where most other options are either tourist traps or high priced restaurants

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
