Not a spectacular restaurant but very cute and pleasant place to visit and have sweet pancake, small plate or just a dessert to get more energy in exploring Montmartre. Very pleasant people who runs that place, pink building look kind of romantic next to old vineyards and area You rediscover while studying paintings of Impressionists. Don't expect fine dinning, just... More

My mom and I found this completely by mistake and we were pleasantly surprised. The seating is very "rustic" but the food was wonderful. The history behind it is very interesting too.

We had a lovely meal at an outside table at La Maison Rose on a pretty day. The food was good, not great, but service was wonderful and we had a pleasant afternoon away from the crowded tourist places a block away.

We came across this place after visiting Sacre Coeur. It looked so pretty. What I did not realise was that if I had walked a further 200 yards up the road I would have found numerous further eateries at half the price and better tasting. This place relies on its location and appears to not take any pride in its... More

La Maison Rose is gifted for it is ideally located next to the Montmartre vineyard and the Lapin Agile cabaret. The area is perfect to enjoy staying outstide and enjoy the warm weather. However, when it comes to eating, the meals are pretty basic, with no originality nor amazing tastefulness. Nevertheless, do not hesitate to go to La Maison Rose... More

Very lovely setting and the café itself is really pretty. The outdoor seating was nice and we enjoyed a nice light lunch there.

Nice little café. The food was okay, but not memorable. It's pricey because it is in a touristy area. But overall an okay experience - especially because it was quiet.

We visited this restaurant when we were on our way to Sacre Coeur. I was initially attracted to this restaurant because of its distinct pink colour. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. We sat outside when the sun was about to set, so the atmosphere was pretty nice. Overall we had a nice meal and it was... More

The best thing I can say about this place is that Picasso used to hang out here and as a Picasso fan I really dig that. But the food suffers from tourism given its location. But its nice if you need a bite and a glass of wine away from the bustle that is Montmartre

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
