I have eaten at Tire Bouchon many, many times over the past decade and have never had a bad meal. The service, food and ambience have always been faultless and the owner is one of the nicest men I have ever encountered. It is therefore...More

Exception value, and good food for budget travelers. 6 of us browsed along rue de Descartes and decided to try this little restaurant. It is located a bit off the busiest section of the street. Early bird (before 8:30pm) 3 course dinner is 13 EURO...More

So after Lebanese and Vietnamese (see other reviews) on the last night we ambled down Rue Descartes not sure where we would eat (no TA research for the last night) and on checking out TB the owner came out and explained his menu. He was...More

This is not the best restaurant in the area in terms of quality of food, but it makes up for it in quantity and hospitality. The owner was amazing, welcoming us from the moment we perused the menu from outside, and offered us free aperitifs....More

A very nice little restaurant in the Latin Quarter. We had excellent service from the quirky owner and a waiter. He even moved a couple who were smoking further away as the smoke was annoying us. He did this without us having to say anything....More

Avoid this restaurant if you can! We were ushered upstairs by the busy, pushy owner. Our table was moved three times to accommodate new guests arriving. Put it this way, the owner's main concern is getting plenty of bums on seats and that's about it!...More
