I took my wife to this place near the Canal St.Martin, which is a nice area in Paris. I guess It would be better to go there in the summer since the winter is a bit cold. The restaurant seems like run by its owners. There were many french people dining there (I usually like when its a place were... More

Such a shame. This place used to be owned by a lovely guy who served reliable, very French food. Now it has a different owner, bad management, tasteless decor, and bright lighting. The evening began with the waiter introducing himself and telling us he was actually the architect (the interior is poorly designed, and the service worse... we should have... More

Made a day-of-dinner rez online and had confirmation within minutes. Then made the error of reading TA reviews, some of which have been very negative recently. Decided to keep on with the evening's plan, no matter, and discovered we'd had no cause to worry. Know nothing of muttered changes in ownership but the kitchen is on an even keel. Salads... More

We ate here a couple of years ago and were so impressed that with only one day in Paris we decided to eat here again. What a mistake! The restaurant is apparently under new ownership but with the same Chef. We were immediately worried when entering to find it almost empty. On our last visit it was packed and there... More

Hi So Sorry to see how you were disappointed. Yes this day the restaurant was empty because the district has been closed by the police because of a manifestation and in France this is holidays. You should have come by night and you would have find a full restaurant. The daily lunch formula has been thinking for busy working people... More

Staff unfriendly , not customer oriented, dishes done without thought and heart. The pictures are good, but in reality... Not the case. Dommage

We visited on a rainy night in September after taking the metro and walking. Wish the weather had been better for exploring this area of Paris -Canal StvMartin. The bistro was small and friendly. The food was wonderful- everything had a lightness - you were eating so much but you did not feel stuffed. Had zucchini and onion soup, risotto... More

My husband and I took an anniversary trip last year and not only was this the best food of the trip, it may have been the best meal of my life. The sea snails were epic and my tuna steak was enormous, tender and melted in my mouth. By far the best value of any restaurant we ate at in... More

Received a recommendation for this place and thought I would see what it was all about. Initial impressions are that it is a small average family run place. But when you try the food you know it is something much more than that. The food was amazing and the service fantastic, especially for a Parisian restaurant. It is a bit... More

We made reservations for a Friday night and enjoyed our experience. My husband had the duck and I had the night special, Beef Wellington. We also had veal tartare and creme brulee. All dishes were absolutely satisfying. Our service was great. All this with a bottle of wine was around 100 euros. We would definitely go back.

We found this restaurant for lunch by chance after visiting the Canal Saint Martin. The food was incredible. The variety was great. The service very personal and attentive. We had a chicken dish; a duck dish and veal liver. It was as good as any restaurant we have been to.

In the heart of the district of the Canal St Martin, both trendy and popular, the Marie et Louise Street hosts a "neo-bistrot" restaurant aptly named. A retro and modern decor that makes you feel like invited at some friends place, traditional and inventive cuisine, with always fresh and seasonal products, for "bistro" as we like experience to live here. Near the antique bar, one moves on lemon yellow moleskin banquettes, in a soft atmosphere revealed by design lightings. And then it's time for the rejoicing menu. But it's not easy to choose ... though all proposals are so tempting.
