For the second time this year, we called in here at lunchtime. The main courses were excellent, service very pleasant and the wine of good quality.

Very good food, fast service. Prices are reasonable. Tasty and big portions. It's worth to go little bit futher from touristic way.

We called in for a late lunch, attracted by the plat du jour which was a variant on coq au vin. It was finished and we both chose a salmon dish without much enthusiasm. When it came, we we delighted with the superb sauce, tasty leek accompaniment and great portion size. The service was excellent and we would certainly eat... More

Great location on the way from Luxemburg Gardens to the Metro, the service was ok, however the food had no taste. So, to pay so much and to leave most of the food on the plate..not recommended.

We were passing it by just to find a place for lunch and glad we walked in here. Decent prices and amazing service. Had a great local restaurant experience as tourists.

Well, I thought this place was OK and would have given it a '4' but my wife took against it. My salad was fine but she said her's was oily. She thought the waitress was surly but I thought she was just trying to live up to a Parisian stereotype. So probably worth a visit but I don't think my... More

I liked the wine. The food was quite good. The restaurant was a bit cramped, especially as it was busy. The tables are close and I couldn't feel comfortable. As there was nothing that impressed me and it was an uncomfortable environment, I wouldn't return.

Smile and say "bonjour" and everything will end well. The waiters are very friendly and the food is all you could ask for. Our daughter is vegetarian and they have a great salad with fresh vegetables, which made it also a great place for me to also order a cheeseburger. Enjoy the wine and the pretty Parisians who stroll in... More

We wanted lamb on our recent trip to Paris & since we had it here last year, we decided for our last night in Paris to have dinner here. Its been nicely remodeled since last year & our wonderful waiter Benjamin now works with his father in the clothing business. (He spoke perfect English & was so helpful.) The menu... More

Food more or less ok, but limited choice. We asked for a custom salad and they said it was absolutely impossible. Overall not worth the price.

Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
