I have already tried different burgers in Paris, but this one was the best I had. The service was as nice as the food.

Schwartz's Deli is simply the best place in Paris for a Reuben sandwich and the burgers and hot dogs are also great. The restaurant is near to the takeaway falafel places in Le Marais and offers kosher deli food in a New York style. There are tables boothes and seating at the bar and the atmoshphere is one of a... Recommended by little cantine when they had no more falafel burgers left! What a gem of a place. Extremely busy but unbelievably efficient ! We waited no longer than ten minutes. Always best sign of any restaurant. Excellent food and staff. Top of my recommendations in Paris. Best place we've eaten by a mile.

I hesitated a bit before going for lunch to Schwartz because of the mixed reviews and because I'm very nostalgic about Wolf's in NY. But I was nicely surprised by everything starting the welcome when we walked in at noon precisely when the open. The manager (or owner) seated us at a nice table even though we said we were... More

Portions are huge and taste is usually OK. The waiters are nice but the owner is pushy and insists on you ordering and finishing rapidly to ensure high turnover. Food is ok though and the atmosphere is ok as well.

I love this place even if it is too noisy. You have a selection of charcuterie but also the amazing burger. If you are a big eater try the Rossini Burger and enjoy the pickle.

You can find a 50's american atmosphere. Burgers are giants and tasty (you better be hungry) with a great choice of recipes. One advice arrive soon or you will have to wait

We've been here last year twice and came again this year right on our first evening in Paris. This place is awesome. Very good plates very good service but if you come after 8 pm expect waiting.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
