This is an amazing gem of a dinner spot tucked away in Paris’ 17th district. Definitely off the beaten path. But don’t let the location fool you. The first is amazing. Among the best that Paris has to offer. It’s a one Michelin resto that...rivals the food at two and three star establishments that we have visited. And the price is very reasonable. Tonight we had a delicious 6 course meal plus an amuse bouche for only €75.00. Every course was a treat. This place is not to be missed.More

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the restaurant! The service was flawless, and each of our meals exceeded our expectations in taste and quality. We stumbled upon this hidden gem and were pleasantly surprised by how satisfied we were. The chef skillfully accommodated our...dietary restrictions, providing us with creative and delectable solutions. I can't praise this place enough—it is an absolute must-visit if you find yourself in the capital.More

Made a last minute reservation, we were very lucky : this is a tiny restaurant and full most of the time... Dinner experience well worth every minute. We took the 'Petit Menu' (60€) and mine started with some wild mushrooms dumpling in a thick soup...of artichoke. For the soup alone, this restaurant deserves the maximum note ! Never tasted something like that. The main consisted of a chicken breast with a bone marrow breading... That is what I call originality ! Chicken perfectly cooked and for all the bone marrow lovers such as myself, it is definitely somethings that you have to try. Dessert was the sphere lemon & basil.... the only thing to be said : just try it ! Service very discreet and efficient. True enough, that one must not be in a hurry, but then again you do not come in such restaurants if you can not take your time to enjoy. All in all a very enjoyable evening in family. We will recommend this place and definitely come back for more.More

La Forchette du Printemps, 1 Michelin star, is just around the corner of our Paris apartment. From the outside, it was unassuming but the decor inside was elegant and classical with a touch of Napoleon Second Empire flair. Service was prompt and attentive --- the...woman server did everything --- arranged flowers for the tables, changed cutlery with every dish, cleaned up and served. Our amuse bouche was rice with bits of cucumber, avocado, cheese, croutons and sorbet on top. All the dishes have complex texture and flavour. I ordered the mini business lunch for 35 euros and my husband went for the full formule meal for 60 euros (The server served me everything that my husband had because she thought it was not polite for me to be left out). My starter was a creamy avocado soup while my husband's was langoustine (little lobster) on a bed of crab meat served with a spicy piece of toast. My main dish was half a chicken breast (the tenderest I have ever had) covered in a white sauce and variety of vegetables --- zucchini, carrots, potatoes. My husband's main was lamb tenderloin slices alternating with aubergine --- soft but not mushy. The before desert was a sorbet topped with figs on a cake. My dessert was pure "theatre" -- a warm sauce was poured on a lemon ball which opens when it slowly melts, revealing a variety of fruits inside. My husband's dessert was dark chocolate with creamy hazel nuts and white chocolate, served with coffee ice cream. It was an unforgettable meal and highly recommended to travellers who enjoy French cuisine in Paris.More

Firstly, this was quite possibly the best value meal of my life! We had the "menu degustation" - EUR 85 - this included 2 amuses bouche, 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, pre-dessert and 2 deserts. The food was absolutely sublime. Each dish was executed perfectly...with the attention to detail that one expects from a restaurant with a Michelin star. I asked the maitre d' to suggest a wine for each course - the wines were outstanding and I couldn't believe the low price charged. One always hears about the extortionate Parisian prices. This restaurant defies this stereotype - I would have happy paid much more for our meal. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. I cannot wait to return.More

Every dish that came out with the tasting menu was really spectacular and you can tell there was great attention to detail. They have been around since 2011 and earned their Michelin star in 2017 as well as 2018, which is extremely well deserved. The...tasting menu was 65 euro for dinner which is absolutely amazing for the quality of the dish and the overall feeling in the restaurant. I highly recommend it and cannot compliment the staff and chef enough for the experience. It truly was spectacular.More

We had a few days in Paris. We chose this little restaurant for a ‘special meal’ and were not disappointed. It was cosy, unhurried and with fabulous food. There were 3 ‘free’ courses over and above those we ordered. They were all splendid. The waiters...were attentive and friendly. Lovely intimate environment for a romantic meal Thank youMore

Just went to this off the Main Street restaurant in north 17th on friends recommendation. Place is tiny, but food is great and service is nice. Oh and price is excellent... even the wine with some excellent Champagne (very rare in France at that level)....I’m only giving a 3/5 because it took us 1h15 to get ou deserts. We arrived first in the restaurant, ordered first and ended up literally waiting with people who arrived an hour after us. Let’s make it a fixed time meal if it’s like that, not making wait the ones who arrive early ! We did have baby sitters at home with very young kids so was frustrating waiting again and again. Still given the level of the food, I will give another chance, assuming this was an exception as the waiter told me. But only once more ! PS: the worse is that while I appreciated a lot the pre desert (home pistachio ice cream topped with a mousse that had some amaretto) I didn’t enjoy the desert, the sphere, which I thought was too basic and lacked complexity/refinement. More work needs to be done to take it to the next level. The sphere is too big and could gain from having decoration outside. Also the way it opens, is that literally it crumbles, when it should open on the sides.More

I was on a date with my wife and without kids of course. I wanted to surprise her with a nice restaurant that was within walking distance. I spent a bit of time searching for it and found this place. Was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful...evening, great service, superb company and tasty food with adequate pairing. The choices a la carte were limited but nothing disappointed us. A must repeat.More

Two Words: Food Poisoning When I got up the next morning, nausea took over pretty quickly. I also had body pains and aches with cold chills. I felt very weak, and I kept going to the bathroom every 20 minutes to vomit and push out...my diarrhea. The other person who ate the same dishes as I did was going through the same sickness. Due to this food poisoning, we missed out train to London. We had to get another set of tickets. When we got on the train, I was throwing up and pushing our diarrhea every 20 minutes for over 2 hours. Once we got to our hotel in the afternoon, I passed out. We were supposed to visit Borough Market, but that didn't happen. When I woke up for the dinner reservation at the Savoy, I couldn't move. I couldn't even keep my water or tea down. I was seriously thinking about going to the hospital. Because I was sick, we missed our dinner at Savoy and was penalized for it (120 pounds). This food poisoning continued to the next day as well. I was able to walk the next day, but I was not able to eat food. We ended up going to Fortnum and Mason, but we couldn't keep our food down. We took a bite of the scottish egg and other dessert, and I could feel it coming back up. Luckily, the tea stayed in my stomach. Afterward, we took our train back to Paris, where we basically spent the next day resting and recuperating in the hotel room. To tell you more about what food poisoning means, it means the restaurant kitchen did not handle the food properly and contaminated its ingredients or they served old decomposing food. Since this is a Michelin restaurant, I am leaning towards improper handling of the meat where people were exposed to campylobacter or salmonella. So, about the restaurant. The restaurant is tight in space, and you can't help but to bump into chairs. The staff is nice and attentive. The food, well, it's expected of a Michelin Star restaurant. My table chose the multi-course meal. The chef opened courses with a "welcome" bites of basically pate (terrine) served on interesting looking spoons. Then, we got a fish and (pea possibly) foam with meat, which had almost a crossover taste of beef jerky and bacon. Next was followed with a white asparagus dish. Afterward, the chef cooked a scallop dish with crisp rice at the bottom with soft mussels. This next dish was where things went south. I really think where we got food poisoned was the lamb because (1) that's what came out from my mouth the next day; and (2) I couldn't eat another red meat for a week. This lamb dish had eggplant stuffed into a cheese pasta. On top of it was the lamb covered it a sea of salt. It was extremely salty. The other person took a bite or two and was not feeling the dish, so I finished her dish as well. I basically had a double dose of ill prepared, contaminated, food. I was the sickest. Followed by this poisoning dish, we had two desserts. One was sorbet with grilled pineapple covered in cognac. The second dessert was my favorite of the night, plus it didn't get me poisoned. It was a sphere covered in what I presume chocolate, which gets melted down by a hot raspberry sauce. Inside of the sphere, I found sorbet, almond, and bread. Overall, everything was going well until I got sick. The lamb tasted funky and smelled a little bit. We just thought since this is a Michelin quality restaurant, the restaurant should have proper process in place for quality. We were dead wrong. We lost 3 days of our 8 day trip in Europe. We even lost weight because we couldn't eat for 3 days. Spending over 200 euro to get sick for 3 days and get penalized and miss out on opportunities during a European vacation, definitely not worth visiting this restaurant. BE AWARE.More

I went with high expectation given it is a michelin star restaurant. It was a good restaurant but not up to the expectation. Decor was dull, service very slow given there is only one waiter to serve the full room, and food blend was not...that sophisticated. Worth noting, it was not expensive either compared to other restaurants with similar rating.More
