Of the three places we ate this Bistro was the best. We had a warm welcome in this wonderful eatery. It was a cosy clean and a smallish establishment. The food was tasty well served and piping hot. There was no loud background music which many places seem to have these days.

Spotted this restaurant after having a drink in a nearby establishment and after reading good reviews about it decided to go the next night for dinner with her good self .Just 100 yard off the champs Des èlysèes it's easily found. A warm welcome from the host /owner to a simple homely lay out. Menu offers a decent choice but... More

We found this place after, as you can imagine, a hectic day sightseeing and roaming Paris. We were actively seeking an authentic Parisian restaurant, no more packed and heavy traffic dining experiences. We wanted Paris dining! And I wanted Ratatoullie. So we left for the side streets, off the beaten tracks and lo, this place popped up. It didn't look... More

If you want to experience the warm intense kind of "French-ness" that you have seen on TV together with good rustic traditional French food served in generous portions you will probably enjoy this little back street restaurant just as much as we did. You are made feel welcome in the best possible way and you will not leave hungry. :)... More

My daughter and I needed some refuge after a tough day sightseeing and of course shopping and we stumbled into Le Chateaubriand near our hotel. It seems like a family run bistro and the guys were fantastic in accommodating us and delivered the best service I have had anywhere for a while. Food is provincial and great and good value.... Le Chateaubriand has become the default lunch destination for my Paris-based colleagues and I whenever I come to the city. It has a friendly, welcoming feel where everyone seems to know everyone else, and everyone is part of everyone else's conversations, decorated with lots of pale varnished wood and cosy banquettes and booths. Neat little tables, dressed with the types... More

I first dined approximately a year ago and was pleased to have another opportunity to visit again this year. This time round I had a generous pate starter followed by a very decent steak with French fries. I wanted a 1/2 bottle of wine and was given a new full bottle of wine with an indication of where to drink... More

The food was great, and the service, well, was typically French:). I speak French fluently, so it wasn't that, but the guy (prob the owner) couldn't give two flips about my mom and I. But I don't expect much less in Paris, hence the high rating:)

It was hardly found a free table in lunch time. The staff was friendly, the service was approproite, not fast but good to the number of guests. The amount of food is big, the taste is traditional.

After walking in Paris all morning, we wanted a quick lunch. Stop here because it is off the Champs Elysees. But you get what you pay for. Lunch was thin. And if you need to use the WC, do not come in here. I had a poached egg in red vinegar and my wife had a warm goats cheese salad,... More
