Not to much choice in this very cosy restaurant but just enough. Food is plentyfull, duck is highly recommended. Only thing that could improve are the chairs. Some are really horrible to sit on.

This restaurant was a great find in Paris. The space inside is small yet really cosy. There was a pleasant buzz inside and the food was of highest quality. Duck in honey sauce and beef stew were delicious as main courses and foie gras was an excellent starter choice. The place gets really busy and it was lucky there was... More

A beautifully quirky restaurant in a great location next to the old windmill. The steak and duck was excellent with generous portions, followed by carefully selected cheeses and what might well be the best rhum baba in Paris. Thoroughly recommended.

This is the first trip advisor review I have ever written, however, our experience was so bad I feel the need to do so. Cannot begin to explain how poor this restaurant is. I could not agree with the previous review any more if I tried. We have eaten in many restaurants in Montmartre in the previous days and this... More

Fabulously filthy meal in a very busy brasserie in Montmartre. Thankfully arrived and ordered before the 'rush' @ 8pm, and boy, was there a rush. Eclectically decorated brasserie, with everything in the restaurant for sale apart from the staff. Seating is 'cosy' to say the least, but it all adds to the overall ambiance. Started with a plate of 'house'... More

This place seems to be popular with the locals, and for a very good reason. Wow. The food was fantastic, and at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is fun and lively. The service was great even though it was super busy. Our waitress was very friendly despite our poor french, and she even saved a dessert for me because... More

A small quirky restaurant, outstanding menu, fun and engaging service. Not over priced, this restaurant follows a tradition on this side of Paris of small simply run, fabulous Parisian food.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at this friendly restaurant - in the middle of Paris, but the atmosphere so relaxed and welcoming. The food was delicious and the service kind. Simple, but great!

What a wonderful restaurant off the beaten path in the Montmartre neighborhood. First of all, the restaurant has a unique and quirky decor that I just loved. And the food was fabulous. We chose the fixed price meal and it did not disappoint. We spoke with the chef and he was awesome.

Thank Liz M

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
