We visited this place for drinks with a large groups of local friends! Very good food and service which is not always the case in Paris! Highly recommendable if you wanna eat something quick in a nice neighborhood (boulevard saint Germaine)!

They get people because of the corner they are on but this place is bad. The waiter is rude and it's not good.

I love this place in Paris. It is classic and open late and indubitably the location does it all. You always return and always frequent great people!!! A must in all respects.

I love this café it's charming and very cool. I was with my 92 year old Father (in a wheelchair ) and the waiters were very pleasant. We had club sandwiches, red wine (served with popcorn) and coffee which was great. The French are not rude they just don't suffer fools. This café is authentic and better than Café de... More

I do not recommend, poor welcome, rude waiters who give you "the vibes" each time you ask for something... It's a pity because the location is good...

Benefitting from an impressive location on the corner of Boulevard St. Germain and Rue de Buci, the patrons of this great people watching venue are well positioned to enjoy passing time over a drink in the fashionable 6eme Arr. Whether you come for a coffee or a late night drink, the thing that really makes this spot special is the... More

Visited twice in one day! Lunch, cold meat/salami/ham selection and wine watching the World go by! Returned for dinner, also outside, under gas heaters, lots of red wine and a good steak! Heartily recommended if you just want to soak up the atmosphere of Paris St Germain! Excellent friendly staff who spoke good English. Would return.

I have been coming back to this location for the past 3 years. The drinks are good and it has the best location. I love to have a great glass of wine and just admire the lively streets of St. Germain!

Take a simple entrecôte and you'll be positively surprised. it still beats the restaurants in rue de buci by far.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
