Amazing experience!!!! The full staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. They all spoke perfect English and the highlight was the incredibly well prepared food and combinations. We have recently visited two Michelin restaurants in Berlin and this experience out performed them both in food, experience,...AND price! The meal was a very reasonable price point. We had a four course meal with additions from the chef with wine that was only 260 Euros with a tip included. The inside is also air conditioned which was a huge plus during a 103 degree Fahrenheit day. This was simply the best overall dining experience that I have ever had!More

On a Saturday night we had the pleasure to enjoy the terrace of the restaurant Pavyllon. Great service and superb location. The staff is really attentive and the sommelier managed to find always a perfect match for our dishes. The "Gevrey-Chambertin Clos village" was a...real gem, as the champagne "Les Murgiers" at the end of our meal. However, I found that the price is high for a menu where something is missing in some of the plates. For example the "soufflé au fromage" or the "Pistes au piment d’Espelette" did not leave a long tasteful sensation that we experienced in other starred restaurants. Maybe it is just a subjective point of view due to the fact that so far we always had the pleasure to try restaurants with two Michelin stars and it was at lunch. Cannot wait to be back at Ledoyen and try the sushi counter "L'Abysse" or the "Alléno".More

This gastronomic setting with counter seating and open kitchen could have taken inspiration from a format launched in 2003 in Paris 7th Arrondissement and Tokyo Roppongi. The staff is kind and professional on average although younger staff lack some empathy. Experience and time will improve...their approach. Had the Pavyllon signature menu with some add ons. Being in a bistronomic setting you do not get a lot of amouse bouches offered from the kitchen.. Some good bread sticks with a savoury cream..not bad as pre hors d'oeuvre. Some good dishes such as the game terrine or the scallops quenelle, some outstanding ones such as the confit beetrot and the steamed comte souffle. Good butter and warm bread to saucer plates.. The butternut squash tortelli made in honor of the famed Nadia Santini...delectable plate. Then it come the turbot with delicious vegetable tempura as a side...smart pairing with an Oriental twist. What to say of the ambrosian delicacy, a beef wagyu grade dish, a twist on the stroganov recipe. The tuile and the cremeux are good desserts but nothing unforgettable..not at the moment near to the high level of the kitchen. Wine markups are imo a bit exaggerated on less expensive bottles. An experience to be repeated in a few years when the kitchen will shine..More

I went to dinner here with my sister on a week-long trip to Paris and it was one of the highlights. The food was wonderful and it was fun to watch the kitchen in action at the bar. My only issue with this restaurant and...many at this level is that the staff often put on a stiff, formal style of service, rather than being at ease with their guests, chatting, and making them feel at home. I was disappointed that no one on staff noticed the multiple times that I dropped my napkin. I realize that this is because we are sitting at a bar and the staff is behind the bar, but picking up a dropped napkin is good service (especially when your guests must get out of their seat to pick it up). Thankfully we sat next to a lovely chef and his wife from the UK, who told us great stories and kept us entertained. We were not getting that from the staff. All in all, it was great food and wine, but a bit stiff.More

This is one of those dining experiences you want to continue or repeat as soon as you can......to tell your friends about and be thankful you were able to have it. Every aspect: the food, service, drinks, atmosphere are all top-notch. What impressed me most...was how the staff seemed to 'read and react' to the guests in terms of timing, recommendations for food/wine-paring. They were as world class as the food and the chef's counter concept was perfect if you're serious about food, but totally comfortable as well. I opted for a-la-carte and was glad I did. Allowed more flexibility and tried things I wouldn't have otherwise. Dishes perfectly mixed 'experimental' with focus on the flavors and high-quality ingredients and just enough 'surprises'. Go here, it's worth every penny.More

We went there for lunch and had an excellent meal. We each had 2 starters (small portions) a main dish and a dessert, which was more than enough. We could have gotten by with 1 starter. Setting was very comfortable, despite being seated at the...counter. There are very few tables available and most are for 2 people. Service was impeccable. Food quality is very high; I would not be surprised to see a Michelin star at their next issue. Pricing is currently fair with the markup on wine/champagne looking like 100pct. You can definitely each much worse in Paris for more outlay.More

This restaurant is unique in that it is not typical of most restaurants. It is designed like a Sushi Bar with a counter facing and exhibition kitchen. The food selections are unique and the service is just wonderful. Although it is a little pricey the...food combinations and wine are worth the experience. I have never had better service and the uniqueness of the restaurant is a must visit.More

We originally had reservations for Sunday night which were cancelled as the restaurant had to close for unexpected reasons. They contacted us and made sure that we were fit in another night during our stay even though online reservations looked full. The service was warm...and attentive, and the counter seating provided a lovely show during the meal. I can't even describe how good the food was. Easily the best meal we had in Paris. I would have previously said that Yam'tcha was my favorite, but Pavyllon may have surpassed it. It's definitely a splurge meal at $500-600 for dinner with wine pairings, but if you can get it you won't be disappointed.More

The service, food, and wine-list are impeccable. What I thought would be a random, casual lunch turned into an extremely memorable dining experience. For any "foodie," the counter seating is a dream - you have a front-row view to all the kitchen magic. Scallops in...bone-marrow, comte souffle, giant ice-cream push-pop with hazelnuts and cherries were the highlights for me. Nicholas, one of the sommeliers, was an exceptional guide for the afternoon. Can't wait to return.More
