Au 35 was an exceptional restaurant with so much character. My experience was solidified by the the charming wait staff, especially Antoine. Antoine is what made our visit to Au 35 so memorable. He is a very charming and charismatic young man. Not only did he have extensive knowledge of the food but was very knowledgeable about the local neighborhood... More

This is a gem in the St. Germain neighborhood. Intimate, with great food with a Moroccan flair. And the nicest people in any restaurant I've been to in Paris working there who clearly love their jobs. I never go to a restaurant twice but did come back a second time to AU 35 on my last evening because I enjoyed... More

This is my "go to" neighborhood bistro in the 6arr. The menu is always a good mix of "classics" and "must try" choices. It's small, so try to reserve and go on the early side.

This is our second visit to Au 35. It is located in the St Germaine area of Paris on the Rue Jacob. The service was great with waitstaff speaking French and English when needed. It was the only place that offered us the option of tap water! Our meal was very good. We shared a plentiful appetizer of toasted bread,... More

We stopped here after struggling to find somewhere to eat on a busy Saturday night. We managed to get the last table for 2 at the back of the restaurant. There were only 2 girls working, which meant we had to wait a good 15/20 mins before anyone took our order. We then had to wait another 15 mins before... More

I dined here twice during my most recent trip to Paris, both times with French friends. The restaurant is small and quaint. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. Service is friendly and spot on. We chose the prix fixe menu on both occasions, fish as the main course. The sea bass preparation was delicious! Desserts were... More

We were so lucky to find this spot! We were just walking along the Seine across from the Louvre and went up a few blocks. When we walked in we were immediately greeting by Antoine! He was super friendly, funny and spoke perfect english! We just wanted a little snack and he was so helpful! He suggested we try the... More

We happened upon this small cafe on our way back to our hotel and thought we would give it a try. It's quite small but nicely appointed. The fellow that served us was very eager to help with our selections and very efficient. The food was good but not great. There was a nice mix of locals and tourists.

Our server was very friendly and eager to please which isn't always the case in Paris. I would suggest price fixed option for lunch. Located right in the mix of things of St. Germaine.

Description
hostess welcomed us with a smile. The food was prepared with love, care, and the best ingredients. Just a perfect tiny and elegant room with an aura of good work done with delight and fine food offered without any attitude of preciousness. Quiet and charming surroundings. Chic without being a slave to fashion.

Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
