We were looking for an authentic meal with decent pricing and found it at Ayako. The food was so fresh and delicious and the portions were huge. A great experience!

We booked this restaurant via Tripadvisor table booking. I think we got the last table for friday. We did enter to the restaurant and from the beginning until the end the service was mellow but super friendly. Food was best we did eat at Paris. Even our kid did love this place since they where able to make her feel... More

I booked this restaurant by internet, I didn't know it but I was pleasantly surprised. Very small place as usual in Paris, funny service and a humorous show cooking....unfortunatelly not the same level of Benihana restaurant. Food's quality was good, instead the price a little less..maybe too expensive. Reccomended with friends.

We were able to walk in and get a table by arriving early in the evening - any later and we would have missed out. Appears to be popular with Parisiennes so you may have to book. Food was excellent

This restaurant was conveniently next to our hotel. The sushi was delicious and so were the Teppanyaki prawns my sister ordered. The staff were very friendly and helpful as our french was very limited! We did not sit by bar but could see the performance the chef put together and all the diners seemed to really enjoy it. Would thoroughly... More

Looking for a dining place in the Montparnasse area, I decided to screen through tripadvisor suggestions. This one was among the TOP 10% in Paris and I decided to go forward. My disappointment was embedded in the "welcome" scene - standing for five minutes in the middle of the restaurant, and then a waitress rushing from the kitchen and yelling... More

We've been to Ayako 3 times over the last few years and had a very nice time on every visit. The restaurant is fairly small and has a pleasant atmosphere: service is very friendly and the cooks put on a nice teppanyaki show. The food - beef, foie gras, scalops, shrimps, vegetables ... - is fresh, well cooked and portions... More

very good products, quickly grilled just in front of you. I do like the grilled shells and also the shrimps. Not expensive, around 20/25 €, and kind service.

We found this place on evening while wandering the streets of Montparnasse one evening after dinner in our hotel. We returned the next evening to try "Japanese Cuisine" in Paris. We were delightfully surprised, the place is small but perfect. There is an option for tepanyaki or regular dining. The server was extremely polite and attentive. After ordering our food... More
