Good location and kind of reasonable food but the toilets were quite dirty and that is never a good thing. Service was ok but it did not feel like a restaurant people actually go back to. But there are lots of tourists in the area...

Very friendly, lovely food. Well priced. We (2 of us)paid €70 in total for a starter, main, desert and wine. Close to the centre of Paris and seemed to be full of local which is always a good sign

We happened upon this place walking around. The ice cream was to die for. It was my birthday and although no one who worked there had a lighter, the gentlemen working went across the street to get us a lighter to use for our birthday candles.

This place is a real gem. I went here three times for dinner with my family and every meal was a gem. Melt in your mouth Boeuf Bourgignon and Poulet curry. Lovely Duck, superb Berthillon ice cream (try the caramel nougatine or caramel buerre sale). Great buckwheat crepes. Friendly, low key service with a smile in a casual, very French... More

The French onion soup was great. The ice cream super. Service very friendly. The menu also included a good selection of crepes. Great place for lunch or an early light dinner. Highly recommend.

Our duck salad was amazing, and so was the chocolate gateau! Service was stellar, and the price was more than reasonable. Completely unexpected gourmet food from what appears to be just a simple ice cream parlor.

Small restaurant, near Notre Dame. Delicious crepes and ice cream at affordable prices. The salty and sweet crepes are just as good. I ate a sweet one with strawberry ice cream and it was excellent. The waiters and waitresses are helpful and fast. Good for having a good meal or just ice cream.

Stopped for lunch and a rest. They offer a small selection of food at a good value. I had the beef bourguignon and ratatouille, kids had a quiche with salad and onion soup. All the food was good but not excellent. Not sure if all the food was prepared on site or potentially brought in from elsewhere and reheated here.... More

Forgot the address so went on a search. When we found it we were delighted. It is friendly, informal and great for a quick stop when there is so much to pack into a day. I had a buckwheat pancake with salmon and crime crèche. It came with salad and I'm sure it's one of the most delicious as well... More

Located in center of Paris, in my favorite place (Ile Saint Louis) near the Cathedrale de Notre-Dame de Paris, this little restaurant is SOOO nice ! Food and service are perfect! I love the brunch. And coming with lot of friends to, just like yesterday with 18 people. AMAZING TIME.

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighbourhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
