This is our second visit here having tried it first last year. This place is unique in our experience of Paris. It allows an exposure to cordon bleu cookery on a more limited budget. Its certainly not cheap but the quality and range of flavours...More

A hole in the wall on a tiny side street, this place rocked. A chef we met in Arles recommended the place and she was right. We arrived early (7:30) without a reservation and they seated us at the bar (which was great). The bartender...More

My hubby found out about this place from a Cathay Pacific inflight mag. It's located on a tiny street that you would never find unless you were specifically looking for the restaurant. We went on a Thursday night and the place was relatively packed with...More

A contemporary shared-plates place with some nice food innovation. These kind of venues are all the rage in London nowadays and are increasingly appearing in Paris. Welcome use of heritage varieties of vegetables and fungi and creative incorporation of cheese into the dishes. Some items...More

Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards
