This was recommended to us as an option for lunch if we visited the Musee D'Orsay. You have to queue up to get a table, ( we waited about 10 mins) but it is well worth it. The dining space is an artwork in itself....More

Situated in Musee d'Orsay behind one of the large clocks. View through clock face across Seine. Very ornate large brass style overhead lights and mirror mosaic wall. Uncomfortable hard chairs though. Good selection of various dishes and fast service.

The Campana Café is suitable for little break. In a brasserie style with a very small but original menu.

Fantastic setting behind the clock. Waiter service but at a price, eg soup of the day was the cheapest lunch available at 9 euros for a mug of soup with a roll. It's better to buy a panini before or after your visit from the...More

I loved the setting - a world-class museum behind a clock-face. The menu is largely French, but I was the only one if our family of four that ordered anything French. My wife and 12-year-old ordered the pesto pasta that they liked very much. My...More

So this is a museum café, and the art-weary travellers come here for a short break before checking out the paintings on the fifth floor. The cafe's setting is wonderful, even the lampshades are artworks, with views overlooking the Sacre Coeur through the station clock...More

We ate here before viewing the paintings on this floor (5th floor). The room is beautiful. The menu is small and pretty expensive, but the food is good-quality and service is pretty fast. I had a Salade Nicoise.

Ok, it is pricey but if you're going to stop here then you've got to expect to pay a bit more! Food is really good and I was surprised by the quality of it and evidently meals are cooked properly rather than 'churned out'. Service...More

My mother and I had lunch here while visiting the musee. We both had the chicken tarte with a side salad. It was very good. Actually one of the best meals on our vacation. Would recommend eating here if you get hungry during your museum...More

Anyone notice if there was anything suitable for coeliacs on the menu? And salad doesn't count, as the 12 year old coeliac won't eat salad. Advice appreciated. Thanks.

I tried to include the link for the menu at Cafe Campana, but TA will not allow it. Check it out online and see if there is anything that meets your needs. There is also another restaurant in Musee d' Orsay. We were at the... More

I don't think you can and from my experience it isn't necessary. We only waited a few minutes to be seated and that was the same for others. Just turn up!
