We have tried bread, quiches, breakfast pastries and cakes. All delicious! There was a big queue of locals in the morning which is usually a good sign. The staff are friendly too.

Out of all the dessert/breakfast shops we visited, Vandermeersch beat every single one. It’s on the corner of Paris, in a corner store, but has incredible rave reviews. Upon entering we were showered in samples (yes please!) and left giddy with a slight sugar rush, holding our goodies in our hands like kids who had just visited a candy store.... More

I stayed near there so I paid a visit for the kouglof. At first there were only big-sized ones so they told me to come back in 1 hour, it was 8 am on Saturday. I bought half a baguette and a croissant. Best things on earth. Then I returned there around midday for the smaller kouglof. Though I didn't... More

Wow, where to begin. This is one of the very best in all of Paris, if not the best!!! My husband and I have had the croissants, the baguettes, and several specialty treats. You really can't Don and Terrie any Better than this. Very little English spoken, but the staff is very friendly and patient with Americans. A smile works... More

We stayed across the street at the Hotel de la Porte Doree. Although the hotel serves breakfast we made sure to take advantage of having an excellent boulangerie right across the street especially since the hotel reviews recommended it multiple times. It was not a disappointment. We were visiting the end of May 2015 and it was during the week... More

Full of freshly made bread, pastries and of course ... croissants! People waiting in queue outside on the street, always a good sign.

The best baguette I have ever eaten. It was right across the street from the hotel I was staying at, so I just had to stop by every morning! Highly recommended.

Amazing! Do not leave this neighborhood without stopping in. One day we had their magnificent take away pizza slices, and on the morning we left for home, we loaded up on pastries for the flight.
